From the outside looking in, everything that seemed good and right about NUFC seems to be gone or going. Team spirit built around a manager the players respect and liked and who got you off your knees, Hughton sacked when doing extremely well. The lifeblood and backbone of your team, Enrique, Nolan, Barton, Carroll, gone or going. The Nolan and Barton sagas must affect the players still there. The thing that Newcastle seemed to have in abundance was spirit and willingness to fight I can't help but think that has been dented massively by Ashleys actions. When the going gets tough will the current crop have the same fight in them?

It's obvious Ashley and Llambias are still up to there old tricks. They don't actually give the manager rights to get anyone. If the manager wants to get someone, but Lambarse and fat **** don't, then they'll just submit an offer they'll know will be turned down. ****ing greedy fat bastards!!!
I think the fact that NUFC gave an offer that they knew was going to be rejected means it was an insult to the fans intelligences. If such a thing is possible.
It's not the player though just his agent doing "public Negotiating", agent puts it out in the press that Toon are only offering £40K, anyone interested has to offer more and so do we if we want him. Basically the agent has said it'll take more than £40K a week but is available if PL sides want him.

Kevin Keegan went to court over it mate, and he won. I can't be arsed to go into detail because arguing over anything to do with Mike Ashley makes my piss boil because i want to kill the fat ****.
Fair enough on wanting to kill Ashley, I know you're not alone. I'm fairly sure KKs case was centred around decisions being made without his authority. Keegan went to court over the fact that signings were made without his authority that lead to his position being irreparably underminded - eg. the signing of Gonzales. He may have wanted to sign Shweinsteiger to replace Milner, and may even have been told we would but we never made a bid below value in this case.
