I see we only got a 7/10 for Entertainment at Swansea. Would a 0-3 have got us an 8/10? Or would we have had to score 2 in the last two mins after being 1-0 down to obtain an 8/10? Rather than the Leicester of RL, I see Hull as the LFC of RL.
After trying to win the Cup in 8 previous appearances on the Wembley stage will No 9 be lucky for them? I believe it will but have believed Hull would win in every attempt since the first one back in 1959!
Hope they win, don't want to be stumbling across drunken mad eggchasers on my walk home from the KCOM tomorrow
Perhaps there is some non RL thread on this forum you could go on, if you find the topic not to your tastes?
Wonder how many tickets they've sold ? It might beat our last appearance there. More credence to their claim of it being a rugby city.
I think it's mainly local media who claim it's a rugby town, and the Hull saps only too keen to buy into it. Only 20k going tomorrow, so basically their home crowd plus fat partner/carer.
They'll probably win. Couldn't really care though, it'll just make RH more unbearable than normal for a while should they succeed.
22-25,000 according to Gollum. Preceded by "It is believed that...". So could be anything. No doubt a lot will be wives going for a bit of shopping. When they played in the final at Cardiff the classifieds were full of tickets for sale, presumably because the wives had found out it wasn't London and were not interested.
So? Always loads more from neutral sides for it compared to FACup where after the clubs and FAs have got their tickets there aren't any spare ones left. Warrington have sold 12,000 FC about 20,000 so the neutrals will outnumber the supporters of the two clubs. Always happened. When I worked in Leeds over 40 years ago a Leeds RL fan told me when Leeds played Wakefield in the final in 1968 there were more people from Hull there than Leeds.
Hell yeah. Systematic generational grooming Schooltrips from Hull to the Twin Towers, Sat night at the London Palladium, back to Kings X then train home. Do not pass GO.
