I don't know if it's true or not but China uncensored is highly unreliable and continually publishes stories attacking the ruling party in mainland China . It's funded by a Falung Gong group out of Taiwan. EDITED to remove the c word naughty political me.
What's the crack about communism? China hasn't been a communist since Mao said tat-tar, then Deng Xiaoping took over and become the architect of the modernisation of China through the kind of planned economy capitalism we see today...Is no more communised than Russia.
I know what you mean. Most subjects can be turned to a political level, and our own history has been influenced by political changes, such as the labour and liberal differences over the stadium. The current situation looks to be influenced to a degree by the action of Chinese politics. Off topic discussions, such as the current City centre changes lead to some comments that could well fall within politics, in fact the whole issue of the council is arguably political. The difference is vague, but I think the key difference falls around discussing the differences or principles rather than outcomes or actions.
Question for those in the know. Ive just been reading that the ink drying via the FA may yet take weeks..!!!... the Villa takeover, was that subject to what seems like massive scrutiny as it appeared form left field and seemed to be over quickly.
...where the club get its shirts made, whose pies are sold on the concourse, the authority a steward has to eject a spectator, the work permits needed by some players, the pitch-side advertising, the changeover of owners - it's all political.
Looks like it took Tony Xia over 3 weeks to pass the fit and proper test for his Villa takeover. I'm not sure when we started the process but we could be forced to wait a while longer yet. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-sold-to-chinese-company-owned-by-dr-tony-xia http://www.skysports.com/football/n...er-tony-xia-passes-fit-and-proper-person-test
Just had a look into Wolves takeover as well. It was announced that the fit and proper test was underway on the 8th July, the takeover was then completed the 21st, so a bit quicker in under 2 weeks.
