one point.... is there ANYWHERE that you can get a genuine head screwed on professional player who wants to achieve great things any more? they ALL seem to want to be on footballers wives and live like balotelli these days.
Part of the job description nowadays.. Its part of the "Image"... Don't have a Public Image (good or bad) then you don't get the £'s
well.... messi. its just all football. Ronaldo - despite the hot pants and the fake tan he has dedicated himself utterly to being the best bale... not up to anything... we know of anyway suarez... ahem... self inflicted on the pitch but never anything off the pitch. it just seems to me most of these young lads get so mcuh moeny early they never get within a 100 miles of their potential
Those guys still have an "Image" Granted, its not like some of the lads here in the UK, get a bit of money early and think they've made it, think, for a while, that went to the head of the likes of Sterling and Ibe, if they stuck to the football, they'd have progressed more, rather than waste a season or two of early development!
Is it me or is he going everywhere for talks? Didn't know he was cable of moving so much after seeing him on the pitch.
As usual, it'll be Rodgers or "the club" that gets accused of screwing up, but Mankiller has consistently struggled to make an impression elsewhere, so I suspect it's more complicated than that.
Klopp on defensive midfield “We have situations when we played with different plays. Kev Stewart, Lucas Leiva played a lot of times. Emre Can joined us late and Hendo did it well. “If you play a pass you need to have an idea about the player you give the ball too, if he gets the ball he has two or three opportunities. This was more the issue than a holding player.”
I know you weren't. I was just making a pre-emptive strike, because rushing to blame someone without knowing the facts is the sort of thing that happens a lot on here. I thought he looked ok too, but a consistent inability to settle anywhere suggests that there's something not quite right.
We live in the age of reality TV where everyone wants to be famous as quickly as possible. Money and fame as motivators are taking over from talent. In football that has translated into love of the game and passion to be the best coming second place to the fastest route to the biggest pile of cash and sponsor deals. I blame the parents
However, according to reports in Turkey, Liverpool have been thwarted in their bid to bring Martins Indi in as defensive cover, with a £4.3m bid being turned down by Porto. Instead, it's reported that the 24-year-old is off to Besiktas. Elsewhere, and former Liverpool defender Mark Lawrenson has urged the Reds to sign Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart. Hart has been dropped by new City boss Pep Guardiola, and is expected to leave the Etihad before the transfer window closes. "If I were Liverpool, I’d be all over Joe Hart,” Lawrenson told Radio Five Live “He’s better than their three goalkeepers put together.” Lawro might be overlooking the fact that the Reds have already spent money on a new goalkeeper this summer, in Loris Karius.
pep doesn't think anyone crosses or shoots in football. all he wants is a deep lying midfielder playing at GK.
