Yes, like Gyan is the sort of option we need. We've got one striker, an old fashioned one who plays off the last man. We need a striker who can bring variation. Is Balotelli good enough to play for us? Yep, easily good enough.
I would take a punt for sure, the guy is pure box office. It would also make a change from signings like Love and McNair. It won't ever happen tho'
Mario Balotelli's roulette of teams continues as he is now linked with Everton, Crystal Palace, Sunderland, Wolverhampton and QPR. The striker has now been touted for a move to teams all over the continent, as he has no space for himself at Liverpool and is urgently trying to reboot his career. The latest and most surprising link was to Manchester United, where Mino Raiola was trying to use his influence to persuade Balo's former Coach Jose Mourinho to take him back. While that possibility may be a bit remote, the Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the 26-year-old's agent is now trying to place the player in one of a number of small Premier League teams. Everton, Crystal Palace and Sunderland are all possible candidates. Alternatively, Super Mario may even join a Championship team like Wolverhampton or QPR, who would welcome the striker in an effort to get back into the top league. In all honesty I don't want him here, he doesn't try hard enough for me and we haven't given our forwards much to work with for some time so we need someone capable of making things happen themselves, on a regular basis. He's good value entertainment wise but totally unreliable. There's a reason he never stays at one club and it's not because he's too good and outgrows them
When **** hits the fan, Mario is the last person you want in the emergency, but here he comes, in his camo Bentley, with an air rifle, a blow up sheep and a load of fireworks to help sort the mess out.
He's like that bad boy that every woman thinks they can change with enough effort but never actually grows up. Maybe Moyes is the girl for him?
I'd be very against this signing. Think he's overrated as a footballer and is a car crash where ever he goes personality-wise
Personally I would love him, he would be incredible or a massive disaster. Its a gamble but one worth taking at this stage.
