You cant have feck all nowadays. PSG President meets with Joel Asoro’s agent According to our colleagues at Foot Mercato, PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi has met with 17 year old attacker Joel Asoro’s agent. The Swedish prodigy currently plays for Sunderland and is being tracked by Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich. Sunderland apparently already value the player at €15m.
Seen this yesterday, won't be true but at 15m euros I'd be snapping their hands off, as good as he might be we appear to need the money for transfers and he's played 100 minutes in professional football.
Its a sorry state if thats the mentality of our club. He could be worth 50m+ in 2 or 3 years time for all we know?
Keep him for me and if he's worth 50 mil in the future then sell him and if he only turns out to be around our level then we've got a canny player on our hands.
And if he doesn't turn out to be a world beater or we get relegated then he's worth tuppence ha'penny

Sell them in a few years for 15m and it makes a lot of sense. It's what Southampton have been doing for years.
Hes had top clubs after him since he was 16 its pretty obvious hes going to be worth a few quid in a few years time. Hes only17 years old look at how good he already is? What a negative attitude some of you have on here ffs.
I'd rather someone who can score 15 now than someone who might score 20 in five years. Don't think that's negative. Just pragmatic. I'd be full of praise for the club if we sold him at a massive profit when none of us actually know anything about him. I don't see happiness as negativity personally. A big money move would be good for us and for the lad.
The fact his agent has already met PSG chairman sounds like he is ready to move. Big gamble for him as he is unlikely to get many games there.
I dont agree. The whole point in him signing for us was because he would have better chance of first team football according to his dad. As predicted hes already broke into our team and he'll get better with every experience he gets. Weve just earned 100m by staying up, and our transfer pots empty. What makes you think another 15m euros will make any difference.
Of course but injury can do that to any player. Southampton are not scratting about at the arse end of the table every year. We`re buying for the future which he is part of. They`re investing in potential and he has bags of it. The only reason I would find this (almost) acceptable was if there was a massive fee with equally massive sell ons.
