Hey, I'd be Yelling too if I'd been sold to Newcastle! <laugh>

  3. Newcastle have got themselves a bargain IMHO
Super fast young developing RB with bags of international experience and a season of PL experience as well. If Walker wasn't arguably one of our best current players then I would be really concerned that he was going - especially for only £5m. :emoticon-0112-wonde

    Wish him well :emoticon-0148-yes:

I agree I thought he did well enough at Sunderland to command a bigger fee than that given the current market. He's also better and younger than Janmaat who went for more...

A decent player and a nice man. Very down to earth and no problem at all in attitude. Rumoured in his early days to be lazy in training, but his work ethic at Sunderland, confirmed the rumours were inaccurate. He'll be a star in the Championship.

Stambouli looks set to join him, ironically enough.

All the best to Deandre, should do really well for the Toon.

Decent deal for us I reckon, signed him for cheap, helped raise our profile in the States, sold him for roughly double what we paid having played just 15 mins for us in the Prem and was 3rd choice in the RB pecking order... Levy'd.

Though from a Geordie perspective, signing a young, lightning quick international full back with a years experience of Prem football behind him for just £5m (who'll also no doubt raise their profile in the States) is a bloody superb deal.

Builders popped over to Levy asking for the 5 million to keep working today.

    Yedlin! calls Levy!

Schalke have confirmed that Bentaleb's had a medical and is training with them.
The deal should be formalised soon.

Is that a loan or permanent? I'm used to seeing most of our incomings being dealt with at the 11th hour but all these outgoings really worries me. Sellers will, as usual, have us over a barrel - knowing that we are short on numbers and long on cash.

Nothing's confirmed, but various reports are claiming a season-long loan.
If he plays a certain number of games, then they have to buy him for a set fee.
Sounds a little dubious to me, but we'll see.

It's being reported in Italy that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis personally called Levy to ask about the availability of Harry Kane.

How many seconds did the conversation last before Levy hung up on him?

As long as it took Levy to say : Kane is available for CL games against Napoli this season.

Should've said he was available for £200m - then asked if the Camorra do loans of that size...

If there isn't one of those options to buy at the end of it, this is a brilliant move for both parties. Schalke are a top aide in a top league and in an ide situation, Nabil will knuckle down, gain plenty of experience and show us and Poch what he can do. I really hope the door at White Hart Lane is still open to him, even if only marginally.

Given the ASM incident, and the fact that the NPD has continual deep fresh
concrete setting occurring, the Camorra no doubt steer well clear of Don Levy.

I feel that this was the kind of deal we should have at least tried to do
with Pritchard (assuming there were good PL loan clubs asking and he
    was willing) .

Reports suggested that the player wasn't interested and wanted a permanent deal to guarantee first team football. I understand where he's coming from - he's going on 24, had a very successful loan spell at a strong Championship side in Brentford and then had a horrendous experience at WBA. In his mind he'd probably got to a stage of all or nothing. It's funny, some players such as Kane and Townsend were willing to go on loan half a dozen times, as long as it kept the door open for them back at the Lane. Others, such as Pritch can only take so much before deciding to cut their losses and move on.
