Let me state first that due to health reasons I have trouble standing up for long periods. But it does seem we have more disabled fans and young kids than any other club. This is constantly brought up yet doesn't seem an issue with other clubs. Watch at the KC and on TV how many sets of away fans never sit down for the whole match without it seeming to bother any of them, yet we have even had some of our fans ejected and banned bacause of complaints to stewards from fellow fans. I had to laugh when sat in the West Stand Upper to hear someone who had managed to climb up two flights of steps (I know he hadn't used the lift as I saw him coming up the steps before the game) complaining when someone stood up for just a few seconds as he was missing the game as his legs wouldn't allow him to stand even for the short time they were stood up. No trouble getting everyone to stand so he could get to the bar at half-time and back up the steep flight of stairs to his seat though.
Flares are embarrassing at English football grounds. They work en masse on the continent but when it's 4 Mancunian teenagers huddled around one, it doesn't have the same effect!
Inspiring stuff from the OWS! http://www.hullcityafc.net/page/NewsDetail/0,,10338~2409746,00.html [Edit: NOT!]
If this gets off the ground more and more flags will start appearing, i'd certainly be interested in getting one made myself. It's about time the atmosphere at English football grounds got abit more lively.
We need a group like this, to work with the club. If that happens maybe we could get a bit of leeway to create standing and family areas, and maybe even put these songs, like 3 Day Millionaire, on over the tannoy system prior to the match.
But hundreds of people would be burnt to death, young children have nightmares and women give birth early due to shock if we had those sort of things at the KC. At least according to Cooper and various council jobsworths. Imagine the KC like this,(keep watching it takes a while to get going) which is an all-seater stadium with a lower capacity. I'd give it to Percy, I'd like to see him at the front of the East Stand shouting Pearson's boring, Barmby's a ****er, I love Jimmy.
Confused as to how this will work at the Home Games ? figuring season tickets have already been sold where exactly is this going to happen? surely they cant just allow people to move about unless you buy tickets game by game? easier at away games but at home? just doesnt make sense this season
I was wondering if they were all in the same area and does anyone actually know how many people are doing it so far ??? I know they say they want to grow in number or something like that but how much do they actually have ??
