Should we play the full reserve team because we don't have enough first team players to risk injury.

Do we put out the strongest possible team.

Do we risk a couple of our first team squad like Watmore and Gooch and put in the young ones to make up the numbers.

Would progress in the league cup be good or bad given our tiny squad.

If we lose, would the powers that be react and sign some players.
If we win would they think everything is now ok. Even if we just scrape through would that be used as an excuse not to add or add very little to the first team.

Will the crowd be low or OK.

I wonder how those in charge of our club will read how tomorrow plays out.
Some may want us to lose in the hope that it will jump start the powers that be into some transfer action.
    Are you one of those?

My view is you have to go into each game to try and win it, otherwise what's the point.
Our current situation is a really difficult one, Moyes I think has said he will put out his strongest team only making one or two changes.
Injuries happen and are part and parcel of football but you cannot compete properly if in the back of your mind your worrying about tackling or getting stuck in.
So for me play our strongest eleven, we are already using the kids and fingers crossed for no further mishaps.

What I want to happen: play the kids, and still win it easily. They should have enough to beat Shrewsbury. In fact, I think the first team sometimes freeze against the lower league teams in the early cup rounds.

Full strength team (not that we have 12 players to rotate at the minute).

If we can get a 2 goal lead after 60-70 minutes then get Defoe, Djibibibi and Rodwell off (never thought I'd say this but he's our only centre midfielder for quite a while).

We simply have to win, if we can't beat Shrewsbury then people will be on Moyes back more than some are already.

Definitely, I'm hoping the players have a point to prove and get the job done professionally, I'd rather get Defoe off after an hour in the lead than have to put an already depleted squad through extra-time and penalties.

Yes with Defoe on the bench if needed.

At least we did it even though it sounds to have been a struggle. Looking at the draw for the next round a lot of Prem teams will disappear after the next round so potentially a decent cup run could be on the cards.

At least we did not do a Burnley or Boro.
