Chaps, do yourselves a favour and listen to this. Will improve your betting no end and for those going through boom OR bust it will be a gentle reminder things aren't always as good/bad as they are at the moment.

listening to this Bob, have to say cards falling are just as random as horses not running to form or meeting trouble in running!

subjective betting? its your opinion so you are backing yourself!

simple is as Im simple does!

I love these boys. Make me chuckle.

Very good punters though. Probably no better than a few on here but they're disciplined.

"Disciplined" punter! Did he not mimick the guy for having had bets that showed a 0.25% PROFIT OVER sp SINCE March?
Keep the family on that? Professional gamblers.........

That's their point in a round about way. If you think a horse should be 10/1 but it's 20's then back it. If you think a horse should be 5/4 but it's 4/5 probably leave it alone etc

Sorry mate, Im not trying to disprove the point its just PUNTERS and "gamblers/radio journalists" are a world apart!
I bet accepting I lose, hence my scattergun on a Saturday, my 3 singles and a treble midweek, where a single doesnt cover the bet
but gives me fodder for the next day!!! I ld love a points perspective per punter (mine is 1 point single. 1point treble midweek)
    HOWEVER i bet to lose!

each to their own Gaz :emoticon-0148-yes:

Interesting that Gordon Elliott sends horses to Sedgfield for the first time ever (that I can see).

i've been to Sedgefield and it's not the best track so he must be trying.

He's had 2 chasers and 1 hurdler there previously, 1 out of the 2 chasers won and he's 100% over hurdles as his 1 runner won. All at prohibitive odds. Saddle My Dream was one he brought over but that was p.u. can't remember the others at the moment.

Have a listen again Gaz. Kevin Blake had run stats that showed if he'd bet at SP he'd have shown that profit but he bets at morning show which shows a double digit return. Basically making the point you've got next to no chance betting at SP.

Guys, how many runners do you need in a race before a fc is payed. Last night in my local bookies in a real mad rush I put a fc on a 4 horse race with the fav beating the outsider. It duly came in and on the screen it said fc £7.82. I went to collect my winnings and the guy didn't payout as he said it was only a 4 horse race. But he said my stake for the fc would go onto the winner instead. So I received a payout but not as much as I should have. Should I go back and complain or was he right? The race was the 7.40 Kempton. Cheers.

Incidentally Bob, it was Alan King's first runner at Sedgefield ever in the 2nd race there today so the commentator told us as his winner crossed the line!

Different bookies have different rules which bookies was it? Coral are quite **** with regards forecasts, withdrawn horses non runner money back etc, I've been burnt a few times by them in shop. I know Paddy Power you can do forecast in any race over 3 runners
