Ah the badge that leaves no doubt, as opposed to a tiger head and 1 904, could it be advertising the Yorkshire wildlife park or flamingo land? never mind a quick check on google will find something, not what you need but something.
The Hull actor from the late '60s TV series "Please Sir" and later "Upstairs Downstairs,,, John Alderton, who married actress Pauline Collins (of Shirley Valentine fame), used to drive an old Standard around Hull when he was at school in theearly 60's. If was completely painted in black & amber stripes. (No City badge !). Your post reminded me about it.
Any movement on this front over the last few days? If they reportedly met the FA on Monday it must be getting close to completion? Bit of a murmur it won't go through until September which would be rather ****.
I would think if this consortium know what they're doing, they would have submitted sufficient information/evidence to the FA a while ago. If they are satisfied, the only stumbling block is likely to be the Allams. If the September rumour/murmur is valid - that's where the problem will be I would think.
A couple of them were people attending a memorial service at Beverley Minster yesterday. Assem and Ehab were also there.
Fantastic car the Vitesse, borrowed one whilst my old Cortina was having some work done and wrapped it around a lamp-post on the first night. Difficult conversation followed
Would be great is the takeover happened soon Can we get one of those big countdown clocks like they have before the new year, oh and the fireworks too
My old man went through a phase of buying some random vehicles we had a Wolsey Hornet which went like a **** off a shiny shovel and an isetta bubble car. A Hillman Hunter - Estate He bought an Austin Princess Vanden Plas off my Great Gran - As she'd never put more than a gallon in the tank it had rotted above that one gallon level. When he came to fill it to the brim - all the fuel leaked out returning to the 'gallon' level it had always been filled to Usually bought them for the dateless reg plates.
