He's better then any dirty tory money grabbing farsted in my booksComrade Corbyn is a dick.
I never said that. I said he is a dick. His politics went out with the Cold war. If Labour choose him the Conservatives will be in for years. At PMQs everyone laughs at him because he is a dick. Even his own party think that. He's better then any dirty tory money grabbing farsted in my books
Owen Smith is more electable?I never said that. I said he is a dick. His politics went out with the Cold war. If Labour choose him the Conservatives will be in for years. At PMQs everyone laughs at him because he is a dick. Even his own party think that.
The Labour party are a joke now. Does anyone actually believe what they stand for. They won't be in power for years.Brexit: Owen Smith opposes Article 50 move without vote

Guess what? We have ALREADY voted.
Guess what ? The referendum was an opinion former, it has never been legally binding. If our elected representatives in Parliament determine that they need another vote, either in public or in the House, before triggering Article 50, then there's nothing people can do about it.Brexit: Owen Smith opposes Article 50 move without vote

It takes an uncanny skill to find a leadership candidate more inept than Jeremy Corbyn. And yes, own-foot-shooting Labour have found an even bigger loser in Owen Smith who's running on a "In my view, the electorate got it wrong on Brexit, so I'll force them to vote again and get it right" ticket.
And he thinks we'll all buy into it. It beggar's belief

Strange, isn't it, that the Government petition calling for a re-run of the referendum in the event of a close result was started by a Leave campaigner, who clearly thought they were going to lose and started 'weaseling' even before the referendum?Strange, isn't it, that the Remainers never raised this during the referendum campaign - Why? Because they thought they were going to win and wanted an unequivocal decision to stay in the EU for a generation.
But they lost - and now they're trying to weasel their way out of what the majority of the public voted for. If they succeeded, it would be the biggest challenge to our democracy since Charles 1 espoused the divine right of kings. Owen Smith is off his head.
We voted to leave the EU - I get it. However, no one knows what the terms of leaving are going to be. Is it really so unreasonable to suggest that we should get the opportunity to vote on whatever terms the government negotiates? What if we go for the Norway option - staying in the single market. Would you want another vote then?

Oh - and the 'majority' was the majority of people that voted, not the majority of the public. An important distinction.
Still waiting to see that £350 million a week, by the way...
Is that the Mickey Mouse petition that was signed by people who weren't even entitled to vote in the official referendum?
What point are you making on the "majority that voted". That because most students couldn't drag themselves out of bed to vote, it somehow invalidates the result?
The 350 million gross figure doesn't come into play until we leave the EU, so don't be impatient
The one created by the Leave Campaign, along with their racist posters and untrue economic claims - yes, that's the one.
No - just making the distinction, because you didn't. Claiming that 52% of the population voted to leave is untrue, just as claiming that 48% voted to remain would be.
The £350 million figure doesn't come into play at any time - it was a complete lie. Don't be so naive...

The elephant in the room is immigration numbers. It's control over borders - and that cannot be achieved with the EU's policy of freedom of movement of labour.
Theresa May has to deliver this, and take us out of the EU - if she can do it and keep us in the single market (probably for an annual financial contribution to the EU budget, so we're not seen as cherry picking) then fine. Otherwise, we trade with the EU as most other countries in the world do.
There's nothing for the public to vote on that's EU specific. Obviously, they will have a general say at the next general election.
The point is that we could leave EU (thereby fulfilling the will of the people - well, 37% of them anyway) but stay in the single market and consequently continue to accept free movement of labour. Job done - move on.
Actually., it's not even that. It disregards all the money we got back from the EU in subsidies. The £350 million figure is only misleading for those too stupid to realise it is gross, not net. Fortunately, most of the public understood the difference.
