What has happened to the TV money? surely we now must make some effort to close a few deals and give ourselves a chance. I suppose, like Bri suggested, its down to personalities and perceptions. If I was a player under Moyes, I'd find his comments disheartening- "what's the point if our manager doesn't believe in us". Whereas if someone like di Canio said "if they do as I say I can improve these players and get better performances from" I'd think "I'll do as as he says and get better". That kind of confidence is infectious. Obviously you don't think like that which is fair enough. Like you and Tel, and Bri have said, Moyes was only stating facts but to me, I know those facts, and it doesn't help to have them reiterated. I want to hear how people think the problems can be overcome.
