Listening to Guido, we'll field a second string side tonight as he wants to look at the other players :(

    Bloody hell....steady on Lib.<yikes>

I think that everyone should sit in a custom made chair whilst posting. Said chair must have a spike that is thrust upwards vigorously if you get enough hits on your "Don't like it up em" button. Dai and Roof would have been in serious bother by now. <laugh>

Second thoughts, others may actually enjoy it. <laugh>

I agree with most that we need a strong team starting tonight. Interesting to know your views if he starts with Rangel, Taylor, Van der Hoon, Mcburnie and maybe Fulton) coz I can see them starting tonite.

What do you guys think, if Guidolin starts with these, is it a weak or a strong team?

Like Valley I'd like to start Loriente and Siggy, as they need to play more together, especially now our Plan A is out for three weeks. But would this be overloading them expecting them to have recovered from Saturday and be available to start away to a desperate yet beatable Leicester. Tough call this, Guidolin's gonna earn his pennies tonight.

I cant put a score on this one but what I am sure of is that we've got another fight on our hands.

I agree Stumpy. Guidolin has to get this right and although he says he's taking the cups seriously I have my doubts. I think the players you mention can do the job but as others have mentioned, after Saturday's disaster may be better to give the regular players a run out. We'll have to wait and see.

I have loads of doubts about him Kiff, but this is a tough one to call for sure.

I missed Dyer out of my list of probable starters. He looked fantastic in the friendlies highlights. Would like to see him start.

So I think Guidolin could start with probably Rangel, Taylor, van der Hoon, Ki, Dyer, Mcburnie and Fulton maybe. Lets face it, I haven't got a clue about this one.

What must happen though is whoever starts they must do tonight what they didn't do on Saturday and that's play together like a team. If they do that then whoever starts, we'll win at a canter.

I think Ki , Taylor and Van Der Hoorn will start this game , and then again on Saturday and if all goes well these three guys will be regular 1st teamers .

Maybe Roof but I prefer our current left-back (who's name escapes me) to Taylor, hope Guidolin does too.

Would be nice if Ki started playing well but his head seems to have gone and van der Hoon I've not got a clue about, not seen him at all. Fernandez needs a boot up the arse though, he was crap against Burnley and again Saturday. Amat is coming along nicely though imo, be good to see him get a string of games.

My thoughts are that Taylor will be more focused because he's not an instant pick anymore , the best thing that could have happen to Taylor is an improving Kingsley .
Also , I worry a bit about Kingsley's defensive duty at times , like. Davies .

    Kingsley, that's my boy <ok>.

Could be rightRroof but I think Kingsley, even at this stage in his development, has more about him than Taylor imo. Taylor might just edge it defense but Kingsley wins hands down up front, quick, good pass and has a great cross.

If Guildo plays players tonight that wont feature much in the bread and butter games and we lose then he will make many enemies with the jacks who will call for his head, Fans are not overly keen on him anyway what i am hearing. Even if we win how is that suppose to benefit the the first team players who have been left out. We need to play our strongest side that will play against Leicester to get some sort of consistency and understanding between each other....

Those were the days. We need to buck our ideas up if we ever want to see them again.

Right taking this as a sign - two swans on the river as I cross the bridge to the ground. I will settle for a good playing performance and 2-0
