Google tracks where you are, what you normally search for etc etc so it's hardly surprising
A random search in, say, Hong Kong from a potential new fan would get something totally different
I don't know how they do it but I suspect it's something to do with Pokemon

Nobody needs to have to guess what to Google if the badge has the motherfucking name on it, and then guess what? EVERYBODY sees it and not just the ones who want to find out who Manchester United are playing.

Is this really an actual conversation?

And the only way to get the name across is the badge? Or could there be something as well as the badge?

You couldn't make it up. Obi even suggested Chinese people could find out who Man u were playing by googling the badge.

How do you Google our badge? By putting 'Hull City badge' in Google? FFS <laugh>

Nobody actually said that. You're intentionally missing the point I think.

    Yes, its a real conversation.

I don't think having the name on the badge makes any difference in attracting potential support from overseas. The vast majority of the 100 million Premier League audience worldwide saw AFC Bournemouth every week and promptly ignored them. The same people will ignore us as well despite having our name on the badge, just as they did for three Premier League seasons when it was our badge.

The only thing that will attract a worldwide audience is sustained success on the pitch and trophies in the cabinet.

If the Chinese want to increase their returns from marketing then they should be looking no further than Hull, East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire in the first instance.

No, there hasn't really been any news since the discussions started.

Someone on the Facebook forum says there will be an announcement tomorrow afternoon. Take that with the usual pinch of salt.

Someone told me today that Peter Chapman and David Kilburn of MKM had headed up a consortium and were in to buy the club. There seem to be more stories than fact.

Tiger Tully or whatever he's called cryptically mentioned on Twitter late last week that it could be the middle of this week when an announcement is made...I suspect it may be later than that.

Those impatient souls will no doubt begin to panic and spark all kinds of rumours.

There was no marketing need to change it.

There was no marketing benefit gained by changing it.

It wasn't changed for marketing reasons.

It was changed because the owners are a childish pair of lying ****s.

You can go round & round all you like with your hypothetical bollocks but the truth is, if the crest still had our name on Google wouldn't be needed.

    Before the name change decision.

“What the fans should be interested in – I will never change the color, I will never change the logo, I will never remove Hull, I will never remove Tigers. These words were there for many years. The color of the club, amber and black, is there. The logo is there. That’s for the fans and I will never change this without consulting the fans"

    & after

"Due to the timescales involved in approval & production of our new playing kit, & due to the late nature of the decision on out application to change the club's name, consultation with the fans about the new crest wasn't possible."

Don't try to convince yourself or others that it was done for any other reason than them being a pair of spiteful, untrustworthy, deceitful lying ****s.

"When I say something, I mean it. I don't call bluffs, what I say is what you get exactly."

The sooner the pair of them, their **** badge & all their other **** scams & schemes are removed from our club the sooner the heart, soul & name of our club can be reinstated & re-established.

Are you thick? I use Duck Duck Go as a search engine (being anti-Google) just try 'orange coloured soccer badge'... oh hang on... I got

    1. Design your own football kits for men & women

    2. is racism against white people possible?

    no more results..

I notice he didn't say he wouldn't remove City. Obviously he wanted a badge saying Hull Tigers. Though, as a man of his word, we ended up with a badge without Hull or Tigers after no consultation with the fans.

From my not 100% memory, James Mooney said that he designed the new badge, and it was as it is and without consultation due to the timing of the name change hearing. He argued that had they been successful, it would have had the wrong name on it.
