Why such a Gigantic outrage at the badge. IF !!! And it is an IF!!! we get taken over the name will be reinstated. There's **** all worth getting worked up about at the minute.
Why on Earth would not having a name on the badge attract more interest? Can you help out on this one?

One thing I'd like to find out, perhaps later down the line is if these Allams used any sort of consultants? If they did, they must have ignored a lot of advice It seems that Papa Allam believed so much in his own abilities as a marine engineering guru and his famous CV that he couldn't possibly accept the opinions of others. And worse, his ideas have appeared to the detriment of his asset (HCAFC) as many of his decisions have undermined the image, value and reputation of the club. Another angle is that he just surrounded himself with Yes Men who would lose their jobs if they disagreed.
You don't seem to be in touch with the modern world here, Obi.. people these days don't expect to have to click more than a couple of times online.. many people can't even get to the end of an online article as it takes up too much percieved time. There is no room for leaving it up to the viewer/consumer's whims, you simply have to be clear and simple or they won't take any further interest We live in an 'on the plate' culture
Yes, but that's included in "looking us up". Its still more time then they'd spend if our name was on the badge.
Most people couldn't care less that our name wasn't on the badge. There will be a small minority who will look out of interest because of who we are playing. An even smaller minority will then take the trouble to put us into Google and find something about our club. That maybe slightly more than would look us up if the name was on the badge. The only way we will get a substantial global following is by winning football matches and putting trophies in our cabinet over a sustained period of time. In an "on the plate" culture how many people will remember the name Hull City after looking up Manchester United are playing? Not very many is my guess.
Going out on a limb here but there is a 50% chance they will. There again, there is a 50% chance they won't.
