    Good Morning Everyone,

Leeds travel down to Luton this evening in the second round of the league Cup.

    How important is the result?

    Which players should be rested?

Charlie Taylor is set to remain at Leeds United beyond next week's transfer deadline

However, it never hurts to have a contingency plan

Pep Clotet, has his eye on Didac Vila.

The former Milan and Espanyol player applies his trade at AEK Athens

Could the 27-year-old fancy a reunion with Clotet - a fellow Catalan?

Gaetano Berardi is a transfer target for Serie A side Cagliari, according to reports in Italy.

    Cheeky gits...

According to The Mirror, Leeds United have enquired about signing Norwich City centre back Sebastien Bassong – but face competition from a host of Championship clubs

Bassong, 30, has been told he cal leave Carrow Roadt having dropped down the pecking order under Alex Neil

What is your team for tonight?

    Morning all...

I would like to see the new guy Pontus given game time alongside Cooper in one half and Bartley in the other. Play Wood from the start and rest Sacko, give Peacock-Farrell a go in goal. It doesn't make sense that he is 4th choice yet Premier league teams were sniffing around him.

I would also give Coyle 90 minutes and rest Antonsson for Roofe

Morning Ell and all. Don't see the need to rest players tonight. After the weekend they'll have two weeks off to rest or whatever professional footballers get up to on their weeks off. Keep the good results going for as long as possible. We must be doing ok now some on the site have begun arguing about fishing.

Grimes needs to prove he's a worthy replacement for Cook so should play. Roofe and Wood up top and I would play Green as he needs to get game time and clean sheets breed confidence. Pontus to play with Coops and then Bartley

I think Pontus Jannson scores from a corner and plays like a sweeper tonight. He will be the difference this season. Leeds by 3 clear goals

I forgot we had him, I agree although he could cost us a win, I would still have preferred to give Diacouraga another chance and send Grimes back... I would have preferred to keep Sloth than get Grimes on loan!

Morning Eire, its a fine blend of keeping the players fresh, and giving the fringe players an opportunity.

It's not so much resting them, just giving a few players valuable game time, seeing what they can do together in match circumstances rather than the training pitch

We do have an under 23 and under 21 development side, and plenty of opportunities for fringe players. We got beat by Cardiff yesterday
