    I certainly wont meltdown, someone earlier asked what has Jay contributed for 2 years and I couldnt agree more. I also think Fonte is ebbing downwards, and am happy to see what we do. I just had a spare couple of hours tonight so thought I'd drop in for a chat.

    Even if none of the steps have been done 8 days is still a pretty long time when everyone knows that is how long we have to get things done. I'm assuming we have a list of players we would potentially want, so just need to contact clubs and agents and go from there. We have all seen the random footballer pegging it about on deadline day whilst some reporter is being molested by a dildo outside Stoke, so if clubs/players want a deal ot happen then can act pretty quickly.

    He gets fed stuff by Saints, so very. Fonte has asked to leave though. If he sees it as his last chance to play for a big club, then things could get messy... I hope they don't as I respect Fonte atm.

    Thanks Beefy and 8BP for the prompt response. I would be sorry to see him go but not a huge loss; great leader for the club and good organiser of the defence - those were is primary assets, but, to be frank, there are many better central defenders in the EPL.
