Worse than Navas? You crazy kid.

It's probably because he's not a winger, never has been, he's not blessed with pace which is probably why we signed Martial who is exactly the same type of player. He'll walk through defences, but you're gonna need intelligent forward play to link up with him, give the lad options. He won't be there to supply Defoe, he'll never be that player, he's too selfish, he'll compliment what Defoe does.

I was prepping food for the week when your game was on, watching it on the iPad in parts but from what I saw, he looked lively, beating players as you say, the crowd were singing his 'Sometime I...' chant as well, so he can't have had a stinker.

I thought he played well - but then we started humping balls to his head and he got nothing from them - had Friend in his back pocket on the floor then they doubled up on him. Looks so good on the ball. Great feet and loves beating a man - time will tell I guess

Friend was quite the menace against Stoke, buy after Januzaj beat him to the byline twice early, he had to focus on his defensive responsibilities.

Kirchoff had one of the worst debuts I've ever seen. I don't see your point?

It'll come with confidence mate, you've signed a kid at rock bottom.

I still think he should be played on the left to get the best out of him, if you're gonna use him to supply.

I'd agree, if he can't use his right he won't hit pen spot or edge of box playing right.

Maybe it's just as Borini was missing.

He seemed to like running into congested areas. Our team isn't good enough for one touch passing in congested areas. He needs to keep his head up a bit more and widen his peripherals, it was just running up blind alllies. Already thinking you've gone from sending him to too good a club to sending him to one which isn't good enough. He needs to find players in space because we're incapable of using the ball quick enough in tight areas.

His right is definitely weaker than his left, but not to the point where he won't use it. He's scored a few for us with his right, one against you lot, so he's not one footed.

He just won't cross the ball mate, he's not that type of player, once your forwards get used to him, they'll know what he's likely to do and where the ball will be and then the link up play might be a lot better.

His strength is incredible for a kid as well.

Could be mate, but I wouldn't write off the signing just yet. He'd link up well with somebody like Ki who you had a few years back, somebody who'll move with him and give him that option, not sure if Watmore is that sort of player? Maybe Khazri or Borini in the Juan Mata 10 role linking up with him would work.

Khazri CAM for me all day long. Can't even get a game though. Watmore seemed to play behind Defoe a lot yesterday, he Can't pass, has no composure or awareness. Not sure why Moyes thinks he can play there, he should be used as a sub to stretch tiring teams. That's without doubt the best way to use Watmore imo. I was baffled by a lot of things yesterday.

I think with the injuries he just pieced together the team as best he could, Khazri's set piece ability was missing I'd say, Adnan shouldn't have been taking corners. Maybe there's some truth in the Khazri rumour cos that's the only logic I can see but then why pick him on the bench?

Must be true, but why wouldn't Moyes fancy him? He's dangerous as ****, brings assists and goals and is hard working tracking back. It's baffling.

Unless he's doing a Kone, but I've not seen any clubs in for Khazri?

    You're right mate, it's baffling.

He's not in the know mate and fully acknowledges he's not. He just finds the media links, a messenger so to speak. You get an idea from him if links have legs. He's very talented that way. He can smell bullshit a mile away.
