No one accepts mediocrity, it's just some people accept it's going to take time to get where we all want to be. No point judging Klopp on what he's doing now. The guy has been given a long contract for a reason.
To fix things... not ignore them. His line today about being an idiot to panic buy is fine but there is no panic there is intense annoyance that issues to ROGERS left fester are still there no fixed. We all know we need a cm and lb. The world kbows it.
I couldn't be arsed reading 19 pages. I listened to the match. What's the general summary of the views expressed on here?
yes thats true mito but id rather wait til Jan if those players (the right players) are not available right now as frustrating as that may be, or we just end up with another balo/benteke scenario at lb/cm with players who dont fit
We controlled the game, but the attackers were all very much the same type of player so they couldn't break down 2 banks of four. Mane was missed. Clyne messed up which gave them their first goal. 26 shots which majority were from range. IMO it was a bad game and nothing more.
If, as reported, they only buy a 10% minority stake for 60 million squid, that's not going to change our long term fortunes much.
Jurgen Klopp is asked about Divock Origi, 21, who has yet to start a game for Liverpool this season. "Saturday was clear, we could have played another 20 minutes and not scored. He [Origi] needs to find that rhythm again." On the 2-0 defeat at Burnley on Saturday: "I lost a few games in my life, and I accept that I will lose a few more in future. You can lose a game. We have to stay calm. Development never works like you actually want it to, you have to take the knocks sometimes."
Origi IMO. sturridge just didn't look right at all. Klopps comments as posted by zingy are interesting though...
