We had cream teas last week & I was chastised for doing it the "Devon way"? Dallop* it on chuck it down trap, onto the next one. We had the younger lad with us. After the Mrs explained what a cream tea was he asked the waitress for a "couple of scones & a cup of tea." *My predictive turns dallop into fallopian.
It really is tragic that the owners have left the club in a situation whereby we seem calm about having a predominately U21 team playing in this cup game. We should be in a position of having a go at all competitions with a competitive side. The ****s them.
Got to be these, none of that fruit free scones crap... please log in to view this image I'm not currently eating any cakes, biscuits or sweets. I'm also speed walking 2-2.5 miles in a morning before work, then the same on a night, sometimes further. I've been doing it two weeks now and so far I've gone from 14st 9 to 14st 9. That's not a typo, absolutely **** all has happened.
But I bet you're ripped now aint ya? You weren't exactly a chubber to start with, at the mo, your body is converting fat into muscle which is heavier, so on balance, your weight doesn't change but your body composition does. Gaylord
Mate of mine walked for an hour a day every other day, dropped beer for spirits & lost 5 stone in 6 months. At least you've got the motivation, that's my biggest problem at the minute.
That's exactly what the missus keeps telling me, I think she's worried I might jack it in, she's been doing it every day for months and has lost a stone now. She used our daughters wedding as motivation and so am I in a way, I thought I looked too fat in the video.
Just saw this on the SKY website, Mike Phelan says "We could give Dusan a game outfield," said Phelan. "But we have younger players who really fancy their chances and want to get into a winning team". That would be something playing the keeper as an outfield player.
That Sky article also tends to suggest he won't make a raft of changes and fancies a cup run, could be playing with fire there MP!
Sounds like he won't make many changes to keep the spirit up, poor lads will be exhausted for Saturday though.
I think you may see the main nucleus of the team that played Saturday. Maybe Dusan in for Jak and Maguire in for Livermore, possibly Tymon in for Robertson. Hopefully, the rest playing the first 60 minutes and with a lead to protect, then a number of subs on for the last half hour.
I think not changing the team is an error. Not only do the players need a rest and can do without sitting on a plane, the young kids needs some experience in case they're needed for the Premier League and how else are they going to get it?
Wow that's ballsy! I always moan we don't traditionally take the cups seriously enough but with the current squad - gulp! On the other hand I'm in Hull the week commencing the 12th so if we got through and got a home game I could conceivably get to see it The Saturday fixture is Arsenull at home so I'll not get a chance of a ticket there I'm sure Why I can't manage to be in town when we play someone unfancied I'll never know.
Give the kids their heads .. Davies should be wrapped in cotton wool for the manure match .. talk of playing him is absolutely bonkers
We're in a good groove' Football Posted at12:34 Hull City entertain Jose Mourinho's Manchester United on Saturday but caretaker boss Mike Phelan plans to keep his side's momentum going in the EFL Cup at Exeter on Tuesday by keeping changes to a minimum. Hull have won their opening two league games and Phelan does not envisage many changes for his side's tie against League Two opposition. "At this moment everyone's happy with the performances and they all want to play," he said. "There will be a couple of changes, but I won't mix it up too much because I know we're in a good groove." BBC sports website
I'm not too sure about this.............................................................I'm leaning towards Phelan out now.
