Didn't see the game, not even the highlights, were we that bad or are the doom and gloomers OTT or making valid points..?
From what I can gather, we were sloppy at the back, 2 times in 90 mins and got punished, whilst we huffed and puffed and couldn't do anything of significance against a well packed defence, did they not have 8/9 players back defending?

 

I would seriously hope players like can, origi and Matip come in to stake a claim here.

We need those three in the first team badly.

sloppy goals given away then just loads of possession followed by wild aimless shooting , particularly by Coutinho , against a team that defended deep but kept the forwards in a position to attack.

Season's over and the window was a failure because against a team set up to have 11 behind the ball we gifted a goal and couldn't break them down with half our first XI unavailable

I predicted 6th for LFC behind spurs and HOPED to win league cup.

simple.

Southampton look toast already. Spurs look like kane is a big worry, west ham... meh they got found out really, all the talk but showed little ambition really. Arsenal are the usual.... so.... yeah LFC are not i na place to take advantage and 6th looks it.

If LFC fans accept mediocrity... fine...
