If the constituencies are based on the population why does it matter what area the MPs represent if the national government decides on national issues. Regional governments can decide on regional issues. The UK and all western governments are representative democracies. That is democracy at its best.

I'm saying that if a party chooses a candidate that is not very good they risk not getting elected. It is reasonable for a government voted for by the representatives of the people to choose ministers.

May was not in favour of remain whatever she said. The referendum resulted in a leave decision and May will carry that out. That is different to the few MPs and other morons who wanted the referendum result not to stand.

Wrong again fat boy, May was a remainer. She was also weak on controlling immigration, totally the wrong person for the job. It needed a brexiter.

Yes, in the same way it would be reasonable for regional government's that have been democratically elected to put forward ministers.

You will agree then that it is democratic for elected governments to choose it's Representative to the European Commission, and for the heads of the member nations to choose the President of that body.

She kept quiet for career reasons. She didn't want to fall out with David Cameron.
