We don't really need anyone apart from another defender at the back, if Emnes leaves then maybe another covering striker

Who are these best strikers Dai. Not having a go, just asking. You can`t rely on a price tag to justify buying someone, their reputation might be good somewhere else, but of no or little use to us. As in Llorente having no crosses to have a go at, perhaps McBurnie should have had a go in the game. I agree with you about "Magic man" Huw, he should resign his position or get shoved out. At least the "investors" have seen us at our worst, surely that was our worst, I hope so anyway.

Redmond, Townsend, Austin, sinclair off the top of my head,,, yes i know they are not all strictly strikers but they were cheap and all are making their mark at their new clubs, then there was Joe Allen who we could have got for £10m before the Euros and There is Bony who wont play a proper game this season if man city cant sell him...We are not doing enough to get him, ...well Jenkins isn't anyway and if they owe us £8m still ( i think is rubbish) then why cant we get him even on loan for a season. .Man city cant sell him anyway if they have not paid us in full or they will be in trouble......The problem here is Jenkins he wont pay Bony's reported wages but if Bony's goals can keep us up and have a chance of a European spot then he will be well worth it......We have the money we dont have the right chairman with a brain...

Jeez your opinion changes like the wind, you have said several times you don't want Bony, now you do! And you are blaming Huw for not getting him! Don't you get it? He doesn't want to come back here, he would rather sit on the bench and collect his £100k a week in wages. The same for Sinclair when he went there. The players you have mentioned are a joke ffs

He gets neurotic when we lose, he always has, just incase you hadn't noticed, Dai cannot help it. The fact that we are only two games in beggars belief though, and when you consider that Llorente has had no pre-season with us, playing in the toughest league on the planet will take some bedding in, Bony didn't start hitting the back of the net until the second half of the season, so I'm frustrated at yesterdays game, but I'm still optimistic regarding our season.

The trouble is we need patience, because our forward line will not have had a pre-season, and in a couple of weeks we will see our No1 Striker Borja Baston take to the field, I have high hopes for him, and Francesco Guidolin has called for patience also amongst fans. "Fernando needs time to understand our ways and the Premier League. It's normal because he has just arrived," said Guidolin. "If I had the possibility of playing with Borja in the last 20 minutes, I would have done. It's normal for Fernando to be tired."

Hull had two banks of four defending behind the ball all game, breaking this down is not easy, and it was definitely frustrating for any well oiled forward line, but ours is new, and far from well oiled from a pre-season, so I'm sure things will start to click soon enough, we have a cup game in a few days then Leicester on the 27th August, and I'm sure we will see some improvement, though the wins may take a little longer, which means we do need to be patient............<ok>

A direct result of the piss poor management and urgency of Huw and Guido to sign new strikers quickly.

I said this would happen weeks before we signed Llorente. We have no excuses here.

We now play Leicester, Chelsea, Southampton, Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Watford, Stoke, Man Utd and Everton as a brutal run of games.

Play like we did yesterday and we'll be lucky to pick up 3 points out of these games. How many of these games can we afford to give Baston and Llorente time to adjust etc?
By the time they get up to speed, we could well be in the crap if we don't sign some quality midfielders and a CB.

Firstly it is not Guido's fault, he's already said he never has got involved with Transfer targets, he only focuses on positions within the squad that need improving. It is Huw as usual who has dragged his feet, and he has explained that away with two reasons, one being the sale of the club, and the other the Euros, so not much we can moan regarding that, other than what were our scouts doing in the interim.............<ok>

He's our manager of the first team, he should be directly involved instead of being a yes man.

Yes manager, but hardly any premier league managers are in charge of spending millions of pounds on players, really would you trust someone who has no experience in handling complicated financial matters to handle million pound transactions?

Football is a business first, players are merchandise to an extent, there is no way a manager should be responsible for bringing in merchandise when in a year they could be out of the door, and we have to live with their mistakes.

Managers should be allowed to bring in their own players and put pressure on the board to deliver.
By ****ing about trying to save pennies we're now hearing excuses that Llorente etc needs time to adjust and adapt etc and it cost us v Hull yesterday.

We NEEDED to beat them because we have a terrible run of games coming up.

You are not making sense, we are in the premier league facing 19 other premier league teams, no matter which way you spin it, we will always face those teams, there are no easy games. And let's face facts here, Liverpool lost yesterday as did others, if they play like they did yesterday then they be lucky to pick up 3 points out of those games. It's the way the league works, I expect to pick up about 15 points out of those games.

It was our second game! And as I said Liverpool had a bad day yesterday, do you expect them to only pick up 5 points in their next 10 games?
