Really underwhelmed at the moment but still back the club to come good. They deserve faith for now but I'm very much in the same camp as others on here, a £5m player is now a £20m player but it's all relative and proportionate with revenues so don't see the problem with overpaying if it means getting the right men in.

I over how easily people spend money when it's not their own ;-)
 
Stanciu is talented, but will probably take time. Good chance to see him in action against City on Wednesday (though Steaua are already down 5-0 in the tie, so don't expect him to lead them to a mighty upset, heh).

Can see Jay leaving for good if he goes anywhere north of Saints on loan. He'll feel at home and probably want to jump the extra miles right up north.
Also think we need to either sell for good or keep him - a loan to a club which risks screwing him up with a dodgy training regime or by pushing him too hard will completely devalue him as an asset. Then he'll be crocked and back on our wage bill. The fact that a PL club is interested means he is still potentially saleable. Would prefer putting our eggs in one basket and trying to make him a success for us.

I don't believe these rumours personally.
He looked good on Friday, and we have invested so much in him to just let him go. We will have plenty of games this season. I reckon he will stay.

Get another striker in first before you let players go elsewhere. If not its suicide considering were already have about as much fire power as a party popper!

Do you really think the club are selling all their strikers or likely to let someone go without a plan B? Really? Come on mate.

I know it's a forum and people like to vent but sometimes I wonder, I really do.

All I know is I'll be so glad when this window is over and we just have to get on with things and well either be patting our selves on he back , or putting our arm bands on trying to tread water. Atleast wel no where we stand, I like things out in the open,all this silence around transfers is getting boring and tiresome.
