every corner was too high and too long from him, both McNair and love seem unable to stop ball watching
As I said earlier I thought we played quite well. With Kone, Kirshoff and then Oshea getting injured (or apparently injured) we just lacked a bit of experience. Hopefully 2 or 3 experienced players will be coming in this week. Frustrating to be playing catch up so early but it is early days
Imagine at the end of last season being told this information for the start of next. Allardyce - Gone Kaboul - Gone Kone - Going???/Unsettled Defoe - Only decent striker Giacc - Gone Cattermole - Injured Kirchoff - Injured Khazri - Going???? Larrson - Injured M'Vila - Not signed Yedlin - Not signed Borini - Injured Numerous squad players have been sold - Numbers not replaced Have I missed anything else? If you look at the above list, add a goalkeeper and that is a cracking team!!! Like I said before, a few of these problems may or may not be out of the clubs hands. But to be in this position is shambolic and embarrassing.
Just been mentioned on BeIn Sports over here. From the Everton game when we secured our safety, only 3 players who played today played in that game. Manonne, Defoe and PVA
Compared to us...HULL CITY youv got it good. We have 13 fit player. one new signing from Wimbledon for the development squad. Owners who charge kids full adult price. A subs bench of youth team players And a stand in manager. Played 2 Won 2 Amazing ... For now .
I will wait for the match lads to comment now, not the same as watching it on a telly or computer.. I reckon there will be some after match tempers like, especially after hearing the Boro songs which are few and far between and normally Championship ****.. Big big loss today in my eyes..
Monday morning it's time to sort the first 11 out. Mvila A RB Another midfielder A Striker Possibly another CB. Then ship out anyone who does not 100% want to be at the club. You are with us or your not its as simple as that. Short it's over to you, get your cheque book out now or lose 100m plus when we go down.
Moyes has pretty much said to the bbc that he isn't expecting any more signings, so we are ****ed. Big time.
Yet on three other stations I read that he said he's hoping to add to the squad this week This one he says nothing about not adding. He says he hopes to make additions http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sund...ill-look-to-bring-in-new-signings-david-moyes Not sure where you get that he isn't expecting any.
It's on the bbc sport page mate. I've seen the sky ones etc saying he does expect signings as well. Confusing.
To be fair he doesn't actually say he doesn't expect to get more players in - he just says it is going to be difficult to do so and he's having to use youth players to fill in spaces. That can be viewed as evidence they are trying to do business or as getting excuses in for not getting people.
If we don't make any more signings between now and the close of the window I am going to the bookies on 1st September and sticking £100 on us going down. I've never bet before in my life but that would be like printing money, honestly.
More of a concern is his willingness to say that he was happy with the performance (especially in the first half) and that you should accept another relegation battle because things are not going to change. I like Moyes and think things could really work out but remember Man Utd losing to Liverpool in their second or third game and annoyed the fans by saying that they needed to accept that Liverpool were a big club and Man Utd weren't the force they used to be. I always thought he was a dead man walking from that point.
