It is a calculated policy of phasing out 'HULL CITY', along with the all the stupid email addresses, publicity material, YouTube channel etc being rebranded as Hull Tigers It is vindictive, deceitful, sly, wantonly confrontational, insulting and dishonest. Many fans I know have been boycotting any products with this ****ish badge on for this very reason.
The terrace relevance of the 19:04 chant originated long before the current badge. i don't mind the badge itself, but it need the club's name back on it as a powerful gesture of reversal.
Even though football is back and we've started off like a house on fire, I am amazed that there are still people on here obsessing about irrelevant matters. It's a badge - nothing more nothing less - what's really important is what happens on the pitch and at the moment, in case you hadn't noticed, we are doing really well. Stop obsessing with things that don't matter and enjoy!

Tut tut - you've resorted to abuse again. Never a good sign! The protest group & the Allams deserve each other as they are both equally responsible for things having escalated to the current situation. In September both will be able to claim success - the protest group will have new owners to worry about & the Allams will have got their money back with profit. The team will have a Manager and some new players & the rest of us can carry on supporting them.
You only have protests if there's something to protest about! Hopefully the new owners will treat us like every other club treats their fans?
I really hope we change the tiger. I've said it before but it looks like it's giving that look cartoon characters give when they raise their eyebrows at a sex joke. Tigers don't actually look like that, a change of look would be welcome to me. With Hull City on it.

I'm aware of the timing and never said the badge drove the chant, simply that 19:04 is now so much more powerful; the date became a significant time of protest against stupidity and deceit. Replacing the badge is unimaginative and unnecessary, as there are many other ways of putting the Allam bitterness in the past and embracing the name we have always had - there is no reversal, we never accepted their nonsense, did we?
I tend to agree. It's a fresh start, line drawn and hopefully a new era. I hope the new owners aren't greeted by people with a list of demands.
