IMO Ipswich dragged us down to their level, the guy on Sky said MM was trying to change their style of play. Well **** me God knows how crap they were before no wonder the Portaloo is like a library even on derby day. Yes we were poor today and got out of gaol, but Ipswich? I couldn't watch that **** every week
The context of the £73 shirt was on the back of 2014/15 when we criticised the 2 tone jockey number and told we are not genuine fans if we didn't buy it. This year Dave sanctimoniously told us that unless we fork out for every home shirt we are not true city supporters. These comments are inflammatory and funny and my moobs would look great in the new home kit but I simply can't afford it. I don't want to feel less of a fan because I can't afford every shirt no matter how ridiculous I look wearing it. Dave needs a thicker skin nobody cares when I "take a sabbatical from the forum".
Call it what you will but we've lost one of the better posters on here and I for one am not happy about it
He'll be back the same as RBF he quit about 10 times already putting at least 5 flouncings to verse .
Yes, sorry to see Dave go. On today's game, is agree that we 'got out of jail free'. 1p5wich were definitely pumped up to win and we were lucky to get away with the offside after 2 minutes, then the defence switched off in the last seconds of the first half to gift them a goal. We could have sneaked it if Whittaker had taken a bit more time when Jerome headed the ball back and he was a tad unlucky when his shot came back off the post. If Mike Dean had been referee, we would definitely have had a penalty for the shirt pulling on Bennett. I think AN probably got the team right, as 1p5wich really threw everything at us in the first half, but I would have liked to see Canos on earlier. WHY does he persist with Naismith????
Still alive and kicking...and telling Watford fans how the weather is in Weston-S-M? Can't say I'm missing this calibre of contribution overly much!
Like I said, I couldn't watch that **** every week. A truly pathetic excuse of a side and a truly pathetic excuse of a football club whose fans (I use the term loosely as hardly any of them bother to turn up even on derby day), continue to live in the past. Alf Ramsey, Bobby Robson, Three trophies yadda, yadda, yadda
I went to the club shop and was given the third degree as to how many Town games I have purchased tickets for In the last decade. Left the shop dejected and went for a few jars in the Cricketers , some dude had a massive table umbrella fly out after a gust of wind and caught it at the last second before taking out a table of pale loooking students. I suggested he should pull the pin and collapse said umbrella. On the off chance I asked him if he knows any season ticket holders and amazingly he gave me his season ticket number and name so I could get a ticket. (I pretended I am a binner ) Walked back the following day and royally pissed off the idiots in the ticket shop by getting one. The moral of the story is there are good and bad Binners in this World and those poor bastards have to endure this **** style because their owner is miles worse than ours and none of their players would get in our side, possibly Ward he showed glimpses of class. I still enjoyed the occasion notably the yellow smoke grenade after Cam's goal and the police kicking out the ****s throwing plastic bottles at Wes when he took a corner.
But who wants to come? Clearly McCormack didn't, thankfully, Brittle Brit? Teeny weeny Wells? There's not a lot out there....
Oh right. Just stick to playing the whole season with 1 Striker, and not bother trying to sign another. Sounds like an intelligent plan.
Controversial???? What do you guys think? (Ducks and runs for cover) http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...-worse-no9s-than-daryl-murphy-in-this-world/?
You hoofed more often and less effectively than us..........before the game I'd have been happy with a draw tbh but I think you got lucky really...... ...hope you enjoyed your day out.
