Rick Skelton's blog: Sunday, 21 August 2016 Swansea City 0 Hull City 2: Perfect Tigers are Phelan Good! Hull City followed up the most unlikely opening day victory with an equally unexpected win at the Liberty Stadium, Swansea to maintain a perfect start to the season. http://boothferrytowembley.blogspot.co.uk/2016/08/swansea-city-0-hull-city-2-perfect.html
Watched it in Pearsons & cheered Abels goal before the rest of the pub as there was about a 20 second delay on it! My mates betting app came up Hernandez GOAL! Everyone looked at us cheering!
You know, with the way we've started, honestly don't be surprised if Big Sam comes calling. He likes players who show commitment and passion. I don't expect it at all, but don't be surprised if it did happen.
Richard Osman @richardosman Highlights of Hull v Swansea on BBC1 got higher ratings last night than the live Olympic final penalty shoot-out between Brazil and Germany.
Never mind, didn't realise you were joking too. I am familiar with Wales. In fact I live in the more Southern, newer version!
Expected Hull to be a bit of a rough house game but it was very fair - a few juicy challenges by broth sides but everyone got up and carried on. You had a plan and it worked. Hopefully our new majority shareholders will see our limitations and look to improve our team either now or in January. Given you situation I have to admire the team and Phelan - pig sick at the result though.
