I have seen the last two seasons of Jenkins choice of striker to know enough what to expect with cheapo's....We have now played the two favourites for the drop and the truth is it is us that should be favourites for relegation....

Drivel. Burnley just beat Liverpool 2-0. <laugh> We've also just broken our transfer record for Baston. How is that a 'cheapo'? Stop your crap.

Service was poor today. Llorente hardly had a sniff. Ayew used to carve out goals for himself out of nothing and Llorente isn't that type of player. If the service isn't coming in he hasn't got a chance. Baston may well have done OK today but we'll never know.

Work is needed. A lot of work. Time to earn your money, Guidolin.

Yes and we beat Burnley who as it happens just beat Liverpool 2-0 today, so what does that say? You are passing judgment on a player who hasn't even bloody played for us yet, and one who cost over £15m, I mean Palace has just paid £27m for someone who has been garbage for said team above!

Yes it does. Our transfer record is not exactly high, especially for a quality striker that you must have to be successful...

We're over the moon lads. Can't believe the performances our boys are putting out. The ****e surrounding the club really has galvenised this bulldog mentality and I hope it lasts a few games more.

Again I think if you had had your shooting boots on you could have been out of sight, but we'll take all the luck we get until it runs out.

It's early on, I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. You'll still finish in a decent position and above us I have no doubt.

Good luckin your next game, I'm off to get hammered <cheers>

Dai, you cannot deny that service to the striker was piss poor - doesn't matter who you've got if that's the case. Guidolin needs to earn his corn right now and improve this aspect of our play. Sigurdsson was awful and we gave away the ball far too much imo. If we don't improve passing and service we'll be in trouble.

Dont bother valley our main problem is still there....

No we don't need Bony back unless he costs us about £35m, the reasoning is that only a player at that price will do for Dai.

We were very poor in the final third, that was not the fault of the striker but the fault of the midfield who believed in passing the ball amongst themselves, we have a 6ft5in striker and we are not utilising him effectively, the reason is that this is only his second competitive game for us. According to Dai he is crap because he was not expensive.

So, we should have signed Joe? <whistle>

Did Ki get on today by any chance?

Yes Ki got on but it was all intricate triangles at the edge of the box. How is that going to get Llorente into the game? The crosses that came in were few and far beteween and when they did come they were poor. Guidolin needs to get them working on this. A 6 foot 5 striker and we were not playing to his strengths.

I fully agree, if we are not going on the strengths of him we are going to be piss poor goal wise with him, he's a hell of an improvement on what we just got rid of, but the team need to stop pissing about and get the service to him, I thought Montero would do that today when he came on, but it didn't happen today.

Yes I thought Siggy was well off his game today, we created very little of quality, though breaking a team down that flood their own box with 8 or 9 players all game, is not going to be easy, they leave just a couple of runners for the break, but they were far more effective than us on the counter, we looked like we thought we had this all bagged before kick off.

It will be a different story when Van Baston starts, but Siggy and Routs need to up their game for the next fixture, Naughton I cannot work out if he is quality or not, he and some others were snatching at things today, one to forget, great to see the Yanks there for this one, reality check me thinks..........<ok>

All the decent strikers that were good enough went in the first couple of weeks and we were sat on our arse looking at what is left and i could not give a toss what medals these have got in the past they were not wanted in the first two weeks. A normal team that have been bad for the last two seasons up front like us would be in there like a shot the minute the transfer window opened getting the best strikers as that is the sensible thing to do....But as usual we go to sleep and it will cost us dearly....

Not even Messi would have scored today for us, every time we had a runner with the ball he was surrounded by at least two if not three players, the only thing that breaks down this strategy that Hull employ is pace and tempo, and our tempo was not good enough, though saying that Leicester have more pace than us, and they still lost .......<ok>
