Right, so he's got barely any choice in the players who are playing, but, he's setting them up, he's motivating them, he's pushing them on, in fact he's doing everything a decent manager would do. If we win next Saturday I'm gonna start a crowdraiser for a statue of the ****er. He's more than earned a chance to stay as our manager, he's been a revelation in these last 2 games.
It could be said when we played them at home the season before last when they were rock bottom, that game kick started their revival. After that they won 7 out of their last 9 games and then carried it on last season. Have they handed the mojo back to us?
Just read the swans match day thread. Pretty level headed lot on the. One great comment, " how did Curtis Davies head that ball between two defenders "
What was more shocking was that he had just had a decent header previous corner, second corner exact same thing and goal. I mean they're either **** at set pieces or Davies had a ball magnet on his forehead, or both. I've been so impressed. Maybe he's enjoying baing Livermore next to him and stepping up to lead and show by example
I apologise - from now on I shall only be 'Neutral Man' from Planet Neutral. If you see Phelan, tell him I said 'Hello'.
