Cheers Hoops, missed the mid week game and seeing the result was a buzz kill, haven't had the strength to read a report.
At least the Fakes have some fight about them playing at home. We're like a damp squib. Costa gets the likely winner for Chelsea at Watford. Leaders Brighton have been pegged back to 2-2 at Reading by Paul McShane. please log in to view this image
Well i hope the JFH mob that knocked me, stick by him. Not here to witness it but losing at home to Preston 2-0 and blowing a 2-1 lead at Barnsley with 15 minutes to go is not exactly top 10 form? Long season ahead. And before anyone asks... I still think JFH is the wrong man to take us forward.
That was atrocious - but well done me - managed to sit through it to the bitter end whilst many around me started bailing out after 60 mins.
Maybe we're not as good as we think we are. Forget play offs lads. This group of players are simply not good enough.
People leaving a home match at 60 minutes in just the fourth league game of the season......it must have been poor..........
Had a bad feeling about this one after reading about tired players at Barnsley, with all to few options to replace them today. Back to normality again then. On here too with the immediate Manager out calls I see.
Shocking display. The only thing that makes sense is that JFH told them.to throw the game as leverage for The Board to spend. Second best at everything today. Rochdale will be rubbing their hands in glee!
I could see this coming. Cannot rely on penalties every week. We have scored very few goals from open play in the 3 previous league games and didn't look like adding to the total today. Unfortunately we still have very little punch up front.
Very poor team display today. Not the same level of pressing that we saw against Leeds and Cardiff, and a real lack of urgency That said I thought that Preston deserved the win - tougher in the tackle, strong in the air and good use of the flanks. They marked Polter well, and defended our corners purposefully Awful miss by Washington - really shows that we need another decent striker Really need to bounce back at Wigan
Need to go back to the drawing board. Maybe the cup tie with Rochdale will be an excellent opportunity to try out new options and variants?
Only one who has said anything is me and i never wanted JFH from the start. I have not mentioned anything about wanting him 'out', just said he is the wrong man to take us forward.
