A poor ride didn't help Ron. ... allowed the horse to be shuffled back from a handy position, then couldn't find gaps
There'd be worse 20-1 ew shots than Black Cherry in the next, fav for the win though Play That Funky Music ...........
I agree but she wan't good enough. That's twice that jockey has ridden a bad race for me. I'm going off him
Nice ride by Rob Havlin there. Hadn't heard of him before he rode Squire and I felt he was the best jockey for him. I think he may just be a very decent jockey
There is a fair few jockeys that could do with a good talking to about going off to fast. It seems to be a theme of today's racing.
YES! Blue Point wins easily. My first bet in the VBS was £200 win on this horse and he got beaten. Just £100 this time but 2/1 was a great price
I have a pretty good angle on how smart I think Nakeeta is for Iain Jardine and the fact that Nakeeta swerves this with SHREWD running might be very telling, having won decisively over course and distance previously. Looks unexposed and a very, very handy claimer on board. At bigger prices, I have snaffled 48s on the exchanges for SEISMOS, who showed ability is in tact in the Northumberland plate, and crucially gets his conditions up at York today from a career low mark. A very smart stayer and I just thought he might look a silly, silly price with the 3lb claim too.
