I seem to say it every season (because we never seem to start well!), but the best time to look like you're missing a player or two is whilst the transfer window is open. Although I don't want to be dropping points at any stage of the season, it's (potentially) better to do it now than throughout the Autumn.

I'm still not bothered about yesterday's loss, and whilst it is not my cup of tea I am still willing to give the formation a chance. But it really is essential that at least one quality attacking player is signed. That has to be the bare minimum over the final 11 days.

Seeing the pen again, Shaw trips himself up.

And who was dropped, marking a massive upturn in team performance. You'd think we lost Lewandoski sometimes!

Let's face it, we never start well anyway! I'm not worried at all.

Like I said before the match, I will be reasonably happy as long as we play ok. Not many team will have 57% possession and 13 attempts on goal at OT this season.
Yes, the team needs tweaking, but the basics are there to have a good season again.

That is not a good clip as it fails to show Clasie making contact before he trips himself up.

Classie lightly touches shaws right foot as it is moving forward. His foot then collides with his left leg and he goes down.

So you are both right, but it is a foul. Very soft one but aren't they all these days?

Just been speaking to a Man Utd fan at work. He grinned and looked sheepish when I mentioned the pen.

MLT agrees with you Tom.....but if that happened at the other end would we have got a pen?
    No is my opinion.

    Agreed.

I also predict that Redmond will be massive for us.

I've been impressed with his touch and ball control. He's got bags of skill.

Seeing we didn't get a pen for when Shane Long got kicked 6 foot in the air last season......we defiantly wouldn't get one for that especially at old Trafford.

A - the Long one was at St Mary's.
B - referees do not favour Man United.
