I think they might be doing more important things at the moment. The Leicester game was to show the supporter base how serious the takeover is, but Swansea is just an away day they have no need to be at at this stage.
They might want to see the football. It is going to be their team. They will have specialists doing the detailed work on the takeover. Right now I would think it's accountants going through the accounting records to ensure there are no big surprises. Weren't there a lot of creditors found that were not in the draft accounts presented to Allam when he bought the club?
Assuming they're all still in UK, I wouldn't be at all surprised if at least some of them went to Swansea. I believe there is an intention to sign players ahead of the completion of the sale, it's not difficult to agree terms for such an arrangement, but it will only happen if the completion of the sale is little more than a formality. I think it will require the fit and proper person test being passed first though, as it's the only factor that neither party can guarantee.
Fair enough, will be interesting to see if they do go, suppose that would show how interested they are in the product.
All my information comes from the internet so I've really no idea how the sale is going. I think the mortgages were paid off years ago but the paperwork wasn't filed. The fact that it was filed this week shows that due diligence is taking place and that the Chinese are buying the full package of companies. Hopefully we, as supporters, can get our act together and the various supporters groups get together and request an early meeting once the sale goes through. Two easy hits would be our name and a promise to look at the concessions. I think they can do something quickly on both the name and concessions. I'm strangely optimistic about the future.
