Read through the article. In this case its Kone that is acting the twat. An all to often drama in todays game. Moyes seems like he is really pissed off with him and this whole episode, but maybe gonna stick their heels in. Get him and the rest of them telt Davy lad. **** player power. SAFC have done nothing wrong in this whole fiasco. Kick the twat in the back, then we know he has one the lying ****er. #konecockwomble ............ Lamine Kone RICHARD MENNEAR Email 17:0317:07Friday 19 August 2016 62 HAVE YOUR SAY David Moyes has revealed Sunderland have offered Lamine Kone a new contract - but the defender "didn't want it". The defender - who has been ruled out of Sunday's derby against Middlesbrough with a back injury - was offered the new deal on Thursday but Moyes revealed that the Ivory Coast international did not appear to want the new contract offer. Moyes has previously said he expects Kone to stay at the club this summer after Everton last week lodged an £18million bid for the Ivory Coast international. It led to a statement being put out in his name claiming Kone wanted a move after Sunderland had failed to offer him a promised new deal – a claim rejected by the club who this week decided to offer him a new deal earlier than the original September 1 date. The saga took a new twist this week and is set to drag on, with Everton still interested. "We have given Kone a contract offer yesterday," said Moyes. "We said we would wait until September but felt why don't we get it done. "We gave it him yesterday, he didn't want it but we gave him it and handed it to him personally so he has got it, and he knows. "He today came in and said he had a bad back. So, it makes him unavailable for Sunday's game." Moyes added: "This is what the player has stated. So, you don't bother with those players who are not fit or injured, we bother with the ones who are. "We are positive we are going to go in and get three points and work very hard towards it." Last week Moyes revealed the 27-year-old was surprised when he was shown the statement he had apparently made asking for a transfer and claimed he had not seen it. Moyes insisted the club is control when it comes to selling players. Speaking generally, Moyes said:"Once they sign a contract we tell them, they can put in transfer requests, stamp their feet and say they are not playing but ultimately they don't go until we are ready to tell them to go. "We might make decisions because we think it is a good deal or the right time, we choose to do that. "Overall, it is the club that controls it. I watched his press conference yesterday and he certainly seemed pissed right off with the whole saga, it's ****ing ****e this like. We've lost Kaboul cos he prefers London to the North East and now it looks like Kone's head has been turned with little signs of any incomings on the horizon. Why the **** do we always have to make a ****ing shambles of the transfer window?
I bet Moyes now wonders what the hell he has walked in to. If the like of Kone and Khazari want to leave...tell them to get the **** out of the club and bring in people who want to play for us. My only concern is how much we would get. I see The bid from Everton is now only 14m...
But are we. This Kone ****e is non of the clubs doing. ****ing player power and their poxy agents. Cant blame this one on the club.
Like ive just said to Welder. The club cant be held responsible for these kinds of situations. The lack of incoming certainly, but not for pissy knickered players actions.
agreed. Kone was a nightmare getting over the line first time round. he/his agent are just gobshite twats. still don't know what the real personal reason is for kaboul moving....it can't have just been London. Moyes would have told him to **** off. khazri? as i've said, if he can't handle being dropped he can **** off too
We are nothing but victims of the Bosman Euro employment ruling. All clubs have suffered because of it, even ManU when they lost Pogba for a pittance and bought him back at eight times his value. The only way this can be combated is for club owners to wake up and work out a formula and the likes of Sky and BT to realise that their expenditure is being pocketed by players and agents. Chances of that happening?
All the foreign players. Never hear a murmur from Catts, O'Shea (i know hes irish but hes near enuff) etc.
Anyone see what happened to sessegnon? released by WBA when he should have been enjoying the latter years of his career. the same thing will happen to these other short-sighted greedy ****ers, and i hope the rest of their lives are as miserable as their attitude. at least we'll no longer be associated with bedsheet wearing white supremacists...
Aye he was another stroppy twat. The problem is, some of these players are pretty good, and sadly they know it. They get bigheaded and start demanding things. No one player is bigger than a club. Fook em.
YES we are mate, we still haven't strengthened the squad and we're into our second match tomorrow. I'm not saying the club are responsible for the Kone situation and he hasn't gone yet so i'm keeping my fingers crossed the club dig in and don't let him go, **** his agent, the club should decide who and when they go. My frustration is at the lack of incoming players of quality.
More like ****ing stupid Short, letting Kaboul go for £3.5m????? FFS that is that daftest bit of business this season.
Sixty six F ing years of support and not too many left, surely I am entitled to see some F ing improvement , wish I had not logged on
