Injuries and suspensions would decimate our squad eventually if we don't sign everywhere except goalkeeper. Players who are comfortable in more than one position would be fantastic.
Not sure that has really worked for us before. If we could get Bony or Rodriguez on loan that'd be a £15m striker without the £15m outlay. So another £10m punt on a striker and one for a few quid so we've got plenty of options up front.

I think they would have preferred to keep Bolasie but they were really lacking strikers as well. Bolasie didn't rate Pardew.
I'm sure the things you are thinking of are not carried out by people who would be diverted to deal with the badge.
Scouts dusting off their Spectrum 48k to tap into the latest 'tech'. I don't think there's any substitute for going and physically watching someone play in a live game. This software for scouting isn't for me.
Maybe, just maybe, the potential new owners having done their research and 'chosen' Hull City - I believe thats what the reports have said - and now seemingly making sure that there are no skeletons, have employed someone to identify targets or potentially available players that might help maximise any investment they are prepared to make to maintain premiership status. Maybe the same person has told them where squad weaknesses might exist. Who knows!!!!!....
