That's a shame, cause we were playing well. Totally switched off and gave Rooney an obscene amount of time to get the cross in.
For me it was Davis pointing into the space where Rooney was always going to run, when thats where he should be covering anyway
Still a good goal. You really do need to look at the game. That happens, good ball into space. Rooney runs into it and gets the cross in and it's a great header. Yes no-one shut him down in time but I think that's because it was a counter into space. Look at the rest of the game - we've played well. I sometimes think people can't wait for it to go wrong.

I agree. I said on the other page, attacking wise this formation is actually decent for us. But we need to help our rb/lb out more when defending.
We are clicking going forward, a lot, just not in the very last section, which is admittedly the important bit. I bet Mourinho is the most relieved bloke there after that goal. They've had more holes in them than we have had.
It seems Redmond dosent know where he's going, he's been out in the right wing most of that first half, so as soon as it goes foward long is all on his own, and united just win the ball back.
