I'm starting to resign to the fact that we will be relegated mainly due to the fact that I support a club who give the impression that they wouldnt be too bothered if they were. They just seem to be sleepwalking through a crisis and hope that they dont fall down the stairs at the end of it. Its like we're preparing ourselves for championship football.

Latest club statement is that they are asking the fans to bring their boots. With currently 15 players being available and more to be sold Ellis is employing this strategy to completing the squad. Decided not to compete for the Bentekes of the world in the transfer. Jimmy Montgomery has been added to the squad. Apparently he has got a good contract <doh>

As Kaboul has failed to sign for Watford ahead of today's lunch time deadline, making him ineligable to play for them tomorrow.

Does that still make him available for selection on Sunday for us as he's still our player.

    Just asking.

Just heard Jimmy has a bad back and Seamus Mcdonagh will take his place after turning down a lucrative contract with Rangers

I can understand the anger, but can we really rely on the reports of the 3.5m being true ? Bain didnt come with a reputation of being soft in the market; did he ?

He was accused of being Murray's yes man, not being soft in the market.

"That was a tribute to his negotiating and man-management skills, wheeling and dealing in delicate financial circumstances to persuade players to stay at the club or ensure top dollar was received by Rangers when they were moved on."

He has been credited to saving Rangers from financial meltdown

Oh well. The info I read a few days ago mentioned that the Rangers fans were pissed off with him selling players below market value. Must have been a load of bollocks
