Kirchoff, Catts, Kone, Larsson, kaboul gone, who next ?, very depressing time for us before the Boro game but papy and the 2 new lads will get their chance and hopefully a striker being signed like Bony we might be ok.
or the lad's genuinely injured ( sure the club medics examine players before they agree they are unfit ) and SSN are stirring the crap - I choose to believe that Moyes will be true to his word and talk to Kone about a new deal come 01/09 - if he does otherwise he looses credibility with the players. It's not looking good as a club and I'd like to see more bodies in the door as we are wafer thin, but this is Sunderland, we don't so easy!
Its very easy to fake and very difficult to disprove somebody having a bad back. People can suffer from bad backs for years and doctors cannot figure out why. 'David Moyes says Lamine Kone has refused a new, improved deal at Sunderland and "arrived in this morning with a bad back." I am led to believe that the above quote gives the impression that Moyes knows Kone is pulling a fast one.
's Aye - just seen the pre-match interview and Moyes does indeed say that with a bit of a wry smile ( might have been wind though! ) so looks like he thinks the lads taking the mick! And he confirmed they've put the offer on the table though his explanation was a bit cryptic: "He hasn't refused it, he didn't want it." - hope I'm wrong but looking more and more like Kone and his agent are engineering a move! Thankfully, he also dismissed Lescott as a potential signing and expects the rest of the window to be busy. Will keep my powder dry until 01/09.
