I enjoy defending the indefensible sometimes. Particularly when there is a pack circling around 1. I agree with every single word you say above, by the way, not sure why you think we don't get it?
Okay. Set off from Vegas airport, on the strip, at around 3pm on Wednesday and landed at Gatwick at around 9:30am on Thursday morning. It was pretty eventful on the way back home, as my wife fell asleep at the wheel of her car and we ran under a lorry on the M3. The car is a write-off, and we could have been killed, but escaped with only a few minor cuts and bruises. Didn't get back home until around 9pm, this evening. We're all pretty shook up, obviously. Anyway, apart from that, I am glad to be home. Vegas was a hoot, and I'd readily go back. By the way, I got confused between miles and kilometres. Vegas is around 8400 km from Gatwick, which equates to around 5200 miles. Glad to see that it gave the segments something to mutually **** over. Also, I don't blame the salivating segments getting excited about the proximity of the helipads to several of the Vegas strip hotels, as they have clearly never been to Vegas, so won't have a clue. By the way, I will be changing my avatar to the Tony Adams one shortly and serving a full calendar month with it, as I had agreed, just as soon as I can work out how to protect my current avatar, as I seem to have misplaced the original photo.
So you flew back from Vegas. Wrecked a car under a lorry. Nearly died. In shock. Yet here you are a few hours later on Not606. Hhmmm.
You have to admit Billy liar is a very resilient individual. Apparently he missed the M6 tsunami by seconds.
So you came back on the red eye from Vegas, were involved in a write off smash on the M3 didn't get home until 9pm and are still posting on not606 at 12.45 am the following morning? Are you on beak HIAG? No-one said there weren't helipads CLOSE to the strip in Vegas, just that your comment that the helicopter was picking you up from your hotel was absolute bollocks. Which it was.
... plausible up to the point of the family sleep walking (running) under the lorry ... @Hoddle Is A God to star in new Jason Bore franchise? ... casting has begun with Matt Lucas and, appropriately enough, Johnny Vegas the frontrunners for HIAG role
