we both play sheffield Saturday i will watch your boys getting their asses kicked again and then watch millwall to see how it should be done
My fault for not looking at date chesh, I can remember there was talk that Bamba was going to be let go somewhere between last season and beginning of this season. Could be it was back in Jan that stuck in my head, not as young as I was last week.....
Leeds want striker Ashley Fletcher - a target earlier in summer - on a season-long loan from West Ham.
Anybody else heard that we have Andile Jali (South African International) lined up to replace Dave and Murphy
If we're going for a South African midfielder, then Keagan Dolly is the one to get. A porper playmaker, Dolly has excellent skills, pace and a low centre of gravity, every now and then looking like a Maradona when running with the ball. He has a release clause of around £750k so not a lot for a very talented 22-year old. He gave Neymar's Brazil a proper lesson at the Olympics, the game finishing 0-0 and one that SA had the better chances in. My guess is Leeds will probably not look at him, and he'll end up in Europe.
Andile Jali plays for KV Oostende in the Belgian Pro League. He is a holding midfielder, and cost £860k when signed from Orlando Pirates in SA. He is valued at £1.7m.
Ironic parallels with the first team tonight. Absolutely awful in the first half. Worse than anything the 1st team has managed this season. 2-0 down in about 10 mins. Could have been a lot more. Denton playing left wing!? And badly too. Wilks on his own up front. Stokes holding. No idea of the formation. Nor did they, by the looks! 2 half time subs. Striker Mulhern replacing LB Pearce, up front with Wilks; Denton moving to LB. CB Kitching replacing RB Nicell, but going in at CB. CB Taylor moved over to RB. Final change was tactical - Stokes moving into the hole between the front 2. What a transformation! Fantastic football. If only the fist team could manage this. Scored 5 & it could have been more. Wilks, Mulhern & Stokes were a stunning trio up front. Don't think they're quite ready for the first team yet, but it wouldn't surprise me if any or all of them broke through this season. This was my first look at Wilks. He's the guy that was the sensation with the U18s last season. Think he's only 17 now. Built like a tank, skillful, agressive & determined. Only let down by his heading. On this showing, I think he could easily replace Doukara. Don't get me wrong - I'm one of the few that likes Doukara. Keep an eye out for him.
it was neither it was the rooster who cum first and just for the record neither a chicken or an eggs is a WHO
There was a rumour Shaks might turn up so moved it forward for safety. Probably should have made it a 9am kick off though
