Blimey. There's a fair few Allamite sycophants on there with their tongues firmly up etc etc.

I'm guessing them changing their minds and forgetting all that is ok.

Let me break it down for you:

Allam buy club, do good things - supporters like

    Time passes.

Allam becomes CSM, very bad things - supporters don't like

    You're welcome.

It's rare you'll get an owner now who is just a philanthropist (I guess people didn't realise about all the interest payments at first). Of course they won't say it's to satisfy their ego and for the lure of Premier League money, but that's pretty much what it tends to be. The carrot of Premier League money has made football clubs at our kind of level more attractive than in the past, when Allam bought us we had recently been in the top flight. We've benefited from that ambition with promotions, though you know they'll jump ship if they don't get much of a return. Wasn't it even known that they weren't football fans anyway?

    Yes, thanks for the memories.

One of the most informative (and embarrassing) threads I have read on here. Should be required reading for all newbies.

At least we would know what we were up against.

You have been like Greyfriars Bobby, staying loyal to the Allams long after the dream had died.

Or perhaps Patty is far more intelligent than people give him credit for? Discarded as a WUM for not agreeing with the majority. It's a bit of a theme on here.

Five years of experience does educate some.

I think the stand out thing is how they have squandered so much goodwill.

What a bloody shame, everyone, the owners included, deserved so much more. It's also been so miserably petty.

****e, I even used to like you. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Ever since I reinstated him on Friday, he's been in one of those rep brothels trying to increase his 'likes'.

I'm pretty sure he's exactly what he seems. <laugh>

Let me go even more granular for you:

Name change didn't bother everyone. Not even close to everyone. Some supporters don't like.

He was at that time still doing good things. Running of the club was more efficient. Bruce. Players. Most supporters like, a lot.

Airco. Meh, who cares? Yes, a minority of supporters, again.

Most supporters still happy with everything.

Removal of concessions. Bad. Really bad. Lots of supporters now pissed off, but still, not surprisingly, all of us. Me? Now not happy, and hoping to see new owners.

Apparently that's not enough for some though. Unless you turned on them when it was fashionable, you're a Allam Lover, etc. There's been more than a few CSMs on the other side of the fence too. Once who it seems have changed their minds, but can't stand it when other people also change their minds. That's my general point here.

This thread is the type, a certain few individuals on here love to drag up and throw in other peoples faces. I imagine a few are a little embarrassed.

LOL just kidding, they're too stupid and/or thick skinned.

I rarely leave our part of Not606 - internet agophobia - but really, a rep brothel. Is that really a thing?

I think when a new owner comes in it's not like you've any choice in it, so you may as well hope for the best, and that's how most look at it. But it is hope and nothing more.

Yeah ok - most supporters were happy with things until the consessions removal? You've lost it pal.
