Finally, current cat Poppy. Not as cuddly as the two boys (or as photogenic, though I don't tell her that )

That would qualify as a pet in Weston, and also a possible sexual partner....Definitely a hint of rodent in some of the locals so that would explain both its size and its boldness. In fact, it was probably just waiting for its mum to finish work in the kitchen.
Ok so I've got a dilemma right now. Do I... 1 - have a flat to myself in a nicer part of London, within easy commuting distance of places I need to go to for work, in a flat that I like, and have a tight ship to run in terms of weekly spend on groceries etc or 2 - go into a house share with three/four people (which I don't really want to do - and haven't found anywhere yet that I like), be in a slightly less desirable/pleasant area and keep hold of more of my wages to live off of I should add that in scenario one the mentioned 'tight ship' is after rent, bills (utilities + unlimited fibre optic WiFi), council tax and tube fares. * - My job also pays expenses for travelling to places other than my designated office for the week
Personally, I'd go for option one - always nice to come home to somewhere you actually want to be. Plus no people complications. Can be lonely mind, unless you can still afford to have a bit of a life outside if work. Cook everything from scratch, you'll slash your grocery bill and free up some more, plus its a great opportunity to brush up on your culinary skills - always useful Most houseshares suck imho, once bitten and all that
Former skysports presenter Charlie Webster has contracted a rare form of malaria whilst doing a charity ride to Rio and is now in an induced coma......get well soon Charlie. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/olympics...rlie-webster-in-a-coma-after-contracting-rar/
That reads to me that you've made up your mind DTLW. Go with what makes you happiest rather than what gives you more money. You can't buy happiness. * * please ignore this if a house share with three gorgeous ladies comes up *
Three or four people sounds a bit too noisy for me, but could be fun (at your age) with the right people. Could also give you an instant social life....after all, you are new to London. However, don't go too far out....what seems an OK commute at first, could get very tedious.
I've come across a few of these digging this week. I'll have to look up what type they turn into. Big hairy things!
