This seems to be contradictory to me, QWOP . . . . in my experience it's never been policed as a 'derby' match, so proper segregation (home or away) has never happened (where it is for the only real 'derby' match up here) therefore the potential for trouble is increased. That's why, I presume, they made the decision about traders, although it's blinking obvious to me that if they policed it properly there would be no need to stop them trading I can't remember the last time that I missed a 'Boro v Sunderland (it was decades ago) but it's always seemed to me that the police have been there to stop trouble after it starts, rather than to actually prevent it from starting. That, to me, is completely the wrong (and stupid) way to go about it
I was mainly interested in the possible return of Kirchoff. Plus Marcus was half expecting someone else to do the matchday thread, maybe copy all his info into the crap first post, so folks can see it.?
Technically I can. But I'd have to edit your op (or you (commo) could copy and paste my "op" into your op... I don't mind doing either
I thought he'd volunteered to take over it? @marcusblackcat Sorry I haven't got those links to you, clean forgot.
No bother mate. I'm on holiday this week so have little access to do any major updates (someone volunteered this week but hasn't got around to it so have out mine together - that's why mine is text based without pictures, only got phone and iPad!)
Was it Giacc volunteered to do them with you? Is that why he didn't? Because I haven't sent the the links? Apologies if this is the case.
It was me mate. I was planning on putting one together last night but Comm put one up and there was already activity on this one.
If we do class this as a derby does that give our new manager (DM) the opportunity to continue the sequence of losing his first competitive game and winning a derby in his second.

George Friend and Gaston Ramirez are the 2 we need to look out for not Negredo. Friend is an excellent attacking Leftback who will give Love a very tough day. Hes over 6ft tall aswell so hes got a physical presence. Ramirez has had a new lease of life since signing for Boro. He plays the #10 role and hes gona have to be watched closely. Any news on Kirchoff?
There's a much higher chance of bother than with Newcastle imo, for a number of reasons most people know. Personally I find the Boro lads to be quite two faced ...... not because they're hypocrites, just one face on each head
