Yep, wasn't online as I'd just back when it started (First training session of the new season). First half thought they were lucky and NZ were dominating, but got the goal and could play on the counter in the 2nd, so made it easier as NZ were pushing hard leaving the gaps at the back to attack. Dutch didn't look great earlier, but its a gold medal match so I expect them to get better. GB can win, but its going to be really tough. The men should be embarrassed (its like England at the Euros level of embarrassment)
Think the GB mens hockey needs a fresh approach, didn't even take the leagues top scorer cause he wasn't part of the 'in' crowd. Actually got a friend, who used to play for us, that should be going to Tokyo, currently in the u23s squad. On the looks note, wasn't all that impressed with Richie Maccaw's missus, Gemma Flynn, guy is like a God in NZ thought he'd be doing better.
I thought they remained calm under the kosh...kept their discipline...Roade their luck at times as you have to when under that kind of pressure..second half they had the measure.... Final should be good....
Hockey is hugely cliquey, problem for that guy is that he's Scottish, there is only one non-English player in the Rio squad and they all play for the same 4 clubs (4!). Its also hugely cliquey to favour Southern clubs in both mens and womens.
Same over here...some clubs can do no wrong and others had the "wrong sort". Guess which category my club belonged to lol...reputation deserved at one point but a nightmare every time we had to go to the disciplinary panel...never stood a chance..we had a couple of guys got in the Ulster team because they were just too good to be totally ignored but once there were made very aware they didn't belong....they just quit it in the end and ignored the invitations to the trials from then on.
Yeah...again hair back that tight makes her look a little harsh...you just know when it's down she's damn fine...
