Stay up. I reckon a good start to the season, starting with Boro will go a long way to seeing us survive quite easily.
Add a few more new faces and we will be in mid table obscurity.

Answering a question with two questions? How polite. Not playing games with you. Yes it was, based on many people not answering the question. Com's Tongue in cheek comment(based on the very same observation) called you a **** by the way. Loved your response to that. <doh>

I've no idea what Comm's comment was, calling me a ****. I certainly didn't see see Comm calling me a ****.

    @commachio1 did you call me a ****?

He did yes, he called everyone a **** but it was tongue in cheek, clearly.

Does beg the question why you're flipping me off for tongue in cheek which held exactly the same sentiments as his.

    What's your problem?

You said "Comm called me a ****" in your last post. I haven't read any of the above but now you're saying Comm called everyone a ****. Like I said, I didn't see Comm's comment, I was only referring to yout post.

I was only flipping you off, as you say, because you called me a **** in a pm.

And I'm not a ****, in spite of what you may think. I've never been a **** to anybody in the last 30 years.

That word gets thrown around too easy on here. It doesn't offend most people, but it offends me.

I didn't mention you either but you saw fit to flip me off. <doh> You're missing my point. Both were general tongue in cheek comments but you target me and flip me off.

So this is about the pms? PM me then instead of spilling onto the board like a little bitch. You're supposed to be a mod ffs. I thought you were quitting. May as well. You don't do **** all apart from steal words, and sticky **** threads so your son who doesn't use the board can find it easier.

To think, I had your back when people were talking about ****ing your wife but you've been nowt but a dickhead since. Seems I put myself out for a right ****ing arsehole. Got a problem. PM me you clown.

Certs to go with squad as is, to thin to injury prone, reliant on one striker.

I do not expect the squad to stay the same, but that was not the question.

Bri, you asked me to avoid replying to you in your pm. And I've done so. I've kept away from you.

I only replied to your post above because that was the same emoji (I think) you posted to one of my posts just after your pm last week, and I've had a few beers and I couldn't resist.

I've really no interest in getting involved in a feud on here with you. I have a life away from here, and its as busy as ****.

So, you can call me a clown and a dickhead and get as outraged all you like, but if you think I would forget you calling me a ****, either on here or in a pm, then you're sadly mistaken. Like I said, I find that word offensive.

And there have been many times I have had your back on here. I've always respected you on here, your knowledge, your matchday threads, but last week you were in the wrong.

If you can't stand back, take a long hard rational look at what you said, then there's nothing I can say.

I'm trying to be reasonable here, to hopefully close this off.

Cry about me calling you arsehole, dickhead and clown all you want. Flip people off and you're going to get ****.

Even gave you chance to play it down as tongue in cheek but no, you clearly wanted it to blow up so it did. <doh>

Don't flip me off and stick to what you said, then and we've got no problem. Simple as that.

I for one think we will improve, albeit marginally. The basis of the team is the one that fought together at the end of last season, a good mix of experience and youngsters being guided by a manager of vast experience in adversity.

We have also fought off big money bids for players and effectively got rid of the ones not wanted freeing up wages.

No worries about relgation for you lot this year. Could maybe get top half with a few decent signings and a few others struggling.
