Suggest you e-mail the club at [email protected] and see if they can sort this out for you. I had to reset my password, but didn't have a problem, so don't really know what has happened.
Morning all, it is still hot but today we have a bit of a breeze making it feel less over whelming. Some rain is forecast towards the end of the week, but we need days of it to restore my water butts. Looks as if I could have a bumper crop of runner beans providing I don't run out of water.
The thing you must NEVER do with THAT airline is to travel with them a second time. I did a return trip to Dublin with them about seven years ago and Mrs HF and I will NEVER fly with them again. If you've never travelled with them before, then you have my sympathies; if you're a repeat offender however....
The problem was that I hit it downwards, it hit the ground in such a way that it spun up and hit me on the head by which time I'd run about 25ft. It had lost a lot of pace so it felt like it been dropped on my head from a couple of inches above it.
Perhaps this isn't uncommon, but, as a nervous flyer, I made the mistake of looking out the window of a Ryanair flight before takeoff and saw an 'engineer' was making a repair to the wing, using a lot of gaffer tape.
Good morning all from a warm and dry Weston-super-Mare! Lots of rain due over the next few days! Have a good day!
Morning all. The big news from rural France is that we had a 10 minute shower of light rain at 8.00 am. Looks as though that is the full ration for now. I have used Ryanair from time to time when I can get a cheap flight. Play their system and it can be good value, but step outside it and you can pay a real price. Last minute bookings are a real no no, exceed the baggage limits even worse. They say they are cutting back on the number of flights from the UK to France as a result of Brexit which I can believe, as each year they have played around with the services from Limoges, and anything that will have an effect on their profits gets the chop. At one time there was a flight everyday, sometimes two, but now it is just four a week. They are very canny operators which despite the ill feeling it generates with some customers makes them very successful.
It looks as if the small person who joins together with others of a similar view can get the better of the establishment from time to time. Last December we had a public inquiry into placing twenty giant wind turbines in the area. After doing my own research I wrote my formal objections to the scheme and handed them in to the Inspector despite being told that I was wasting my time as his record showed he was in favour of such schemes. He received hundreds of written statements, with less than 2% in favour. By February he produced his report that totally ignored all of the problems, a total whitewash. His report then was sent to the Prefect in Poitiers who clearly did a thorough job in reading everything, and she has rejected the scheme out of hand. Everything that I and others wrote pointing out the problems she has picked up on in a lengthy consideration. Of course it is not over as the companies will go to appeal, but their chances of success will have been diminished by such a careful study.
So The Red Lion pub is going to open again after two years. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/ne...ord_FC_to_reopen_in_time_for_first_home_game/ Still not sure that it has a great future, but I wish them luck, and hope they have a picture of Baz in his red builders hat placed in front of the dart board if they have one.
Good morning all from a warm and dry, for now, Weston-super-Mare! Much rain promised for today and tomorrow! Have a good day!
Morning all, bright and sunny, but not quite so hot today. The thugs that beat up Nic Cruwys have changed their plea to guilty after two weeks of their trial and will get their sentences next month. The judge has told them to expect time behind bars. http://www.expressandstar.com/news/crime/2016/08/19/revealed-how-cctv-nic-cruwys/
Good morning all from a wet and warm Weston-super-Mare! Have a good day and good luck to your Golden Boys!
Good morning all from a windy Jersey. If the weather forecast is correct, then there could be a disrupted T20 finals day today.
