There's an aftertaste I don't like and I always feel a tad queasy after I've eaten one. No idea why. Maybe just guilt I don't eat chips so it can't be them. Chips! I love the smell of vinegar on chips. That smell is right up there with a bacon butty! But I just can't eat them!
I know what you mean there, I usually have some queasiness after a McDonalds, it kind of squats there in your stomach. Small price to pay for something so tasty though for me. Is the chips thing that you don't like them or do they not like you? What about crisps?
I'm a bit of a food nazi! I don't eat processed foods except cheese and the odd bit of bread. I don't eat out of tins (except tuna) or anything that's likely to have preservatives. And I can't eat much fried foods because my stomach plays holy hell if I do. If I go mad I'll have a hot spicy pizza now and again but the bugger always gets its own back the next day. Fruit, veg, nuts, pulses, loads of fish and the occasional bit of meat. Oh and guinness. Might have mentioned that before
Fine dining. Expensive and rather uncomfortable. They give you food, you just think 'wheres the rest of it'.
Judging from that I can see why you wouldn't like McDonalds, it's pretty much at the opposite end of the spectrum from what you like. There's something to be said for clean, healthy food but I like my processed crap too much to live without it. I eat a lot of meat too, I probably only have a main meal without meat once a year.
I've had steak, potatoes, carrots and turnip, all in the slow cooker since this morning. 12 more minutes and it's game on.
