As it is, I reckon we'd go down as the squad is paper thin and once injuries take hold we'd be ****ed and relying on the young'ns. I do think that with 2/3 good signings and a loan or 2 it'd be a much different preposition however.
Down. When you factor how much of the squad is injury prone we're simply not equipped to stay up with the present squad. All fit it's not a bad starting 11 though. But there's not enough quality and depth in the squad to come in when needed. Placing the strain on too many youth players could backfire and is far from guaranteed they're all ready yet. If they're not then we're not just damaging the club we're damaging the young players too.
We do need to find 6 points extra this season and I don't think we can rely on 'Boro as we could with them in the kickabout league.
As it is, down. Seb & Catts out long term. A few more knocks and we`ll struggle. The bairns might come up trumps but it`s a big ask.
We'll do what we have done for the past four seasons and just avoid relegation. For me, there are worse squads than ours when you look at Burnley, Hull and Bournemouths quality of player
We need to strengthen, to think the current squad is better than 3 or 4 others in the basement is dangerous, the squad is weaker than last season, and we will not be lucky forever.
. Im laughing cos i set the poll so that only those arsed to vote can see who voted which way. All done on a donosaur phone.
